I decided to start a localised version of this forum. It also has local discussion forums decidated to discussing any issues affecting people within that area. It still needs to be organised but feel free to make use of what is there.

tip: A discussion forum in it's infancy needs as little forums as possible, otherwise it creates the effect of being "deserted" to most visitors, and their likelihood of registering let alone posting is much lower.

tip2: addiing a website to the forum will greatly increase the number of visitors. After all, SSC may be an established site today with millions of visitors, but it's taken a long time to grow to the size it is now.

Oh, and if you run a forum and you're the mod for every forum with no one else, turn off that mod display (I've never had experience with any of the free forum providers though) so it doesn't look like you're some evil dictator. Secondly if you're the admin (I presume you are) then you have automatic rights to moderate and therefore don't need to explicitly nominate yourself :)
