Any of you lot know of any good organisations that one can volunteer his Saturdays to?I've tried tutoring and SPCA and I'm not so crazy about both. The ideal organisation would have to be located in central Joburg and not involve endless bureacracy.
So if you can think of any, please give me the URL,phone numbers etc.

Donate blood, that's what I do. My blood is so rare and perfect, it's used in motor accidents

Not a big animal person.Tutoring didn’t work out because I’m not particularly fond of children and vice-versa.

Thanks, didn’t think about the Red Cross for some reason.Their website says that one must be “skilled” which I’m not but I’ve sent them an e-mail nonetheless.

That’s more of a civic duty,silly.

^ It's not a duty at all. I'm doing them a favor.

Congrats! It's really fun, you get a key-chain with your second donation. Also, it feels like you're on a high for a few hours. You also sleep more comfortably :)

Lol no, I'm not a druggie. It's just the reduced amount of blood deprives your brain of it's normal amount of oxygen for few hours.
