I started from Magaret Pace Park, which I consider the beginning of this Corridor Craze...it's a nice urban park, very active, very chill!!

I went on a weekday in the middle of the day so there weren't many people...but on the weekend there is a nice balance between pedestrian traffic and peace/privacy.....something that may or may not change in the future

great pics, i happen to work just west of Biscayne and 20th Street. I also love Cite'. The color scheme and little architectual details make it unique for that area. Did you see the sign for city24miami,I think thats what its called across the street from Cite'.

fantastic thread & pics of Biscayne Blvd. north of downtown!...even though I'm excited about the building boom currently underway, this part of the city did have it's own special charm in away with the older bungalows & lowrise apartment buildings near the bay. I hope they will be able to maintain some of that atmosphere

Very nice photos, streetscapeer! Some awsome projects going up in the city...tons of them too.

STREET, GREAT PICTURES !! :) , Looking Back at Post #4, Bobs Dream (s), REALITY IS HERE !!, Many of these 500 or so MIDrises and HIGHrises in the UPTOWN MIAMI area, are NOW under construction after knocking down many old two thru five story apartment buildings once used by college students in that area for a small college there that did'nt go far when it started. So most of the old buildings were trashed and back then hookers were there. There is a clean-up of those such called trashed residences in that area now, and many of these CONDO Projects are starting. BULLDOZERS and DEMOLITION Vehicles are seen everywhere in this area now, its EXCITING, I drove thru there recently all 50 PROJECTS North of The NOW COMPLETED 20-Story CITE CONDO ( Formerly the VILLAGE on BAYSIDE ) at Biscayne Bvld and N.E. 19 st.are either Underway like the ICE, ONYX, BLUE, and many others Just starting like the STAR LOFTS CONDO tower which just got its 16 millon construction loan. AND don't forget the NOW started MIDTOWN CONDO TOWERS, #1 of 7 is UNDERWAY!!, and has a SHOPPING MALL and possible MOVIE Theaters at the corner of N.E.36 st. and N. MIAMI AVE. :cheers:

I think this is the building where that new 3030 building's going, the low-rises look awfully similar! Can anyone confirm this??

The 1 and ONLY CUBAN :) , it is CONDOS, 3030 Biscayne will be Condos if developed ? but won't start for at least two years. Sure will be a Great tower in that Area :) . Plans are still in the works, Sales will probably start Late Next year. :cheers:

nice photos. New skyrises always give an older neighborhood clout; otherwise, why would a developer invest in that neighborhood- its a psychological thing. In Miami's case, thereis development EVERYWHERE! What does that say for the city? Only good things. :)

Take a look at the progress these 2 Biscayne Blvd Corridor Buildings are making! This area is going to be super cool in a few more years!
