avimor International is performing the project of construction of four modern multipurpose fishing trawlers type MFV 208.06 "33.8m L.O.A. Outrigger & Stern Trawler". The vessels are designed for catching shrimps and other demersal species by deep water stern trawling and outrigging operations in tropical waters. They are equipped with modern processing area and freezing system, meeting all current European Union sanitary and veterinary regulations.

The vessels are built at the WISLA Shipyard, under the supervisions of Bureau Veritas.

Main characteristics:

Length over all: 33,80 m
Length b.p.: 27,00 m
Breadth: 8,20 m
Depth to upper deck: 5,80 m
Depth to lower deck: 3,65 m
Draught: 3,25 m
Speed: 10 knots
Crew: 20 people

The design and equipment of these ships is combining the expertise of Navimor International and WISLA Shipyard in construction of fishing vessels for West African waters, with the modern European trends for the shrimp vessels.

The vessels will be equipped with 700kW main engine. The main fishing equipment consists of a massive trawl winch with four drums and 20 ton line pull on the first layer. The freezing capacity of the vessels is 4 tons / 24 hours. The goods are stored at -20°C in two fish holds of 150m3 total capacity.

The vessels are being built at the WISLA Shipyard, under the supervisions of Bureau Veritas. In frames of the Contract with the Ministry of Fisheries, Navimor Internationa will also organize the training for the Angolan crews.
