nice small town, i like the buildings on the snow.
Unfortunately since this is a rate the skyline forum, and there is only a small skyline as such, i can only give it a 3.5 IMHO

Sydney looks like a great place to go if you only have a year to live, because it looks like everyday would seem like a friggin' eternity! Holy cow, that's one boring looking city with a boring skyline. 2/10

BTW, this town is a bit deceiving in that the downtown serves only the 33,000 in the city proper and immediate surrounding area, and not the almost 110,000 in the metro (there are 6 different downtowns in Sydney metro, Sydney is just the largest one)

considering it's low population, i really think that the skyline isn't as bad as most of you think of it as...mabye if the camera were a little better, it would influence my vote alittle more, but hey...i understand that a photographer works with what he's got.

anyway's...the town/city looks really nice, but the skyline could get alittle more density to make it a complete skyline.

I'm glad to see some of the higher voters replying, so we can get a little bit of differing opinions in the replies and no just in the votes. I realize this won't get a high rating, I know it will get low ratings, but I've seen people ask about this city (in my lurking days, and admittedly mostly only Canadian forumers), so I decided to post it and see what resulted. I was also hoping someone else would surprise me with pics taken from better angles and with a better camera (and photography skill).

Timur and datilguy - thanks for doing more than just looking at the pictures. ;)

Sydney's skyline reminds me a lot of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario's skyline. 6/10. It's not bad for under 40,000.

I don't really call these things "cities", must be because I grew up in a huge city like HK... this is at most a town, and doesn't really HAVE a skyline. I'm sure its a lovely place to live in (like my home in the US)
