Hey, i am new at this, when i download Lots in the Plug-in folder, how do i retrieve them in the game? I can get the landmark lots fine, but, for example i downloaded a resedential 5,000 sims skyscraper, how do i build this building in the game, where is it located? Thanks so much! -Brian

there are two types of lot files:
1. Ploppables
2. Growables

landmarks and some other buildings are often ploppable structures...meaning that you can plop them manually into your city.

some other buildings, not usually landmarks, are growable...meaning that they are like every other building in the simulation: a certain codition must be met before they start to develop. In other words they will eventually appear randomly depending on your stage level and on you desirability.

I'm guessing your residential skyscraper is a growable building... and since it houses 5000 sims it is probably a stage 7/8 building... meaning that your city will have to be pretty big before it appears.
