Justme July 20th, 2004, 05:15 PM Absolutely stunning photo's!
Rome is so under-discussed on these here urban forums.
One point though, Is this the riverbank? Some work needs to be done to maintain these walls. Maybe vines would work - low maintenence and would flower in spring/summer

gruber July 20th, 2004, 05:32 PM yes, i think that are the LUNGO-TEVERE, riverbanks of Tevere.
and i think that are renoved few years ago. i went 5 months ago in Rome and the banks in the city centre were in good conditions.
last year some of the LungoTevere were used as in Paris. with sands as beach!
ops...great, great pics!
Eletrix July 20th, 2004, 05:38 PM Beautiful photos, fantastic! :)

It should be a good thing, but in Rome there are too much ancient things to restore and the river Tevere is just start to be navigable again after a long time.

I sure am glad this thread is still around! :)
As to il mio caro tarchon's statement, I'll break it up for comment:
1. Mamma mia, SI! There are soooo many ancient and old things to be kept from collapsing, to restore, to keep going, to paint, to secure structurally ...
2. That's wonderul news indeed!
And once again a big THANK YOU to cityskyscrapers for his wonderful photos. :okay:

Depression!! Very high depression!!
Sonic from Padova April 10th, 2005, 02:28 AM che bella Roma, è unica!
