So I've been spending the past few weeks adding as many Capetonian developments as possible to Urbika (http://www.urbika.com/cities/map/49-cape-town).

Basically what it is, is a website developed by SSC members that makes indexing, finding, updating and sharing information on projects so much easier. Among other features, all developments are represented by coloured pins on a map of the city. These pins are assigned colours based on a project's status. One is then able to click on a pin in order to get a brief overview of the project, and one can then follow a link for more information on it.

It helps provide some great perspective, eliminates duplicate projects, keeps things far more organised and generally opens your eyes as to exactly how much is going on in the city and where key development nodes are :)

For example:

So yes, do join :)

Wow - nice work Lydon - must have taken quite a bit of time - impressive!!

Bloody agents. Just kidding. Been following Urbika for a while, as it pops up in searches on google.

Let me know what I can do Mayor Lydon.

Thanks :)

I'm trying to do Joburg at the mo, but it's proving difficult as I don't know the status of many of the project, or their exact locations/other details. It's slow going.
