I think I know the answer but im not sure

When I download resdential and other RCI buildings whats the difference between the two.

Does 'ploppable' mean you place the builiding yourself and it appears where you want it? and functions as Residential building?

'Growable' I understand.Its grows itself without you deciding where it goes.But one important question.With growable do they appear in a new building set that you can choose when you build the city? for example,The Berlin set in the simtropolis bat files? and the 'Chicago set' in the game itself

there is diffrent version of ploppable buildings, if you townload a building with a ploppable part and a growable there is a landmark functional ploppable some times and a residential / commersial / industrial ploppable and the growable grow up as res / com / ind kinda it's no harder then that if i like a building i get both growable and ploppable some i just get ploppable

If I download a set of Victorian London Row houses from Simtropolis.Can a make a residential area with just those houses and no other style?

if you want to yes, but the fafest way to get a style clean neighbour hood is to plop it that way you can be sure, otherwhise you gotta wait for them to popup and make them a landmark and delit the otehr ones and hope that you get a building withthe rigth style, sorry for confusing ya

You have to combines the use of the two. I plop most of my office towers, and I grow most of my residences. I plop some residences, but only when necessary.

Bascially:

-Ploppable
You decide where to put the building.
i.e Landmarks, gifts.

-Growable
The building grows at a random place.
i.e all buildings in sc4 are growable except landmarks and gifts (assuming you dont have any downloaded lots of bats.)

What do you mean???? Most growable buildings are also ploppable in your Landmarks icon....

Use the lot editor and save it under a different name. Try that and if it doesn't work download the Reader program and change it there.

Ok i have Reader... what now? I don't have any clue how to change it. When i'm choosing some "*.lot" there's a lot of options and i'm not sure what to do..:(

Go to the simtropolis omnibus and there should be a tutorial.

there's only tutorial "how tu make landmark lot funcional"... :( no growable to ploppable
