Just thought I'd share. I will contact the Parks Department and Hillsborough County. I really think we need it. We always are saying why can't this or that be played here, or why this convention wont attend. The city really looks dirty on the interstates especially Fletcher to 275.

The City of Tampa might be adding landscaping to the Interstate in the Seminole Heights portion (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. north to Hillsborough Avenue). The portion of the Interstate from Interstate 4 north to Fowler Avenue (the Tampa city limits) was originally landscaped by the City in the early 1990’s, but the City did not renew their landscape maintenance memorandum of agreement which expired over 5 years ago.
We haven’t received any inquiry from the City or news of any civic group contacting the City to relay interest in upgrading the interstate landscaping from Yukon up to Fletcher. You may want contact Tampa Parks and Recreation as well as Hillsborough County to request that they design, construct and maintain an interstate landscape project within their jurisdictions. There may be funding authorized to support such a project within any of the next three years.

Hello. I would like to know if in the future there will be any improvement to the 275 landscaping from the I-4 interchange to Fletcher. It always looks overgrown or none at all and this is the first thing people see when coming into Tampa from the north. It makes a bad impression in my opinion. Hillsborough and 275 are real bad in the jug handles.Thank-you for your time.
