stanford July 26th, 2004, 03:32 AM I hate you! Now I have to buy a plane ticket and fly back to Taiwan all because you made me hungry. ^^
Pangu July 26th, 2004, 03:59 AM I hate you too! :)
stanford, buy an extra ticket while you're at it ;)
Isan July 26th, 2004, 06:43 AM :eat: Welcome Home , Stanford
Foods can't wait for U na~~~~~~~~~~ :booze:
zergcerebrates July 26th, 2004, 12:51 PM Haha..I don't have to buy ticket to Taiwan. We have those here in Los Angeles due to the huge Taiwanese population here. Muahahahaha!
wolkenkrabber July 27th, 2004, 04:52 PM 哇.... :'(
Taipei101 July 28th, 2004, 02:39 AM Arr, now I'm hungry too. :drunk:
stanford July 28th, 2004, 04:33 PM Aiya.. this is why a franchise like Dunkin Donuts would never have a chance in Taiwan. First of all, if you work in Taipei or something, chances are you get your coffee at Starbucks (since the city is practically overflowing with our dear 'shing-ba-ke').. and why get crappy breakfast foods when you can get better and more food at say a corner neighborhood café near your apt. block.
I remember when I stayed in ´º¬ü, there was a little shop and every morning I would buy one order of ³J»æ, and one order of Áç¶K, along with a glass of ¦B¥¤¯ù
³J»æ = 30 NT
獦K (10 of them!) = 35 NT
¦B¥¤¯ù = 15 NT
Total = 80 NTD !!
Here in Boston, at Dunkin Donuts, Combo 2 is an oily breakfast sandwich with a medium size coffee.
Combo 2
Total = 3.98 USD = 130 NTD!

How expensive in taking Donuts for breakfast in the morning :moods:
But in Far East regional seems to be slightly cheaper than The west but McDonald morning combo just less than $4 in Canada :eat: :cheers:
I'm Lov'in :) for day and night
Isan August 13th, 2004, 10:39 PM
