About 5km west of Gangnam and originally a golf course
owned by the CEO of Samsung, it became in the 1970's the
main campus of Seoul National University. SNU has 30000+ students (and growing)

Some pics within the campus.

The first 5 are the new engineering buildings.
Really high up!

some newer ones, near the main gate.

there's a nice coffee shop and japanese restaurant inside this
one. Sipping a coffee on the terrasse feels like being in a
resort. Hmm, not sure if this is good or bad for the students ;)

princeofseoul...

a splendid trip through the campus of Seoul National University. :applause: It is certainly very interesting to see how foreign campuses look, how they are laid out and arranged and not least how the academics are designed.

I am particularly fond of the 6th picture in your second post - the unidentified glass building in the high-tech sector of the city. A very beautiful photo!

Give the Prince a chance, infatar!

I've looked at these pictures & am preparing a comprehensive response, using my local university as a point of comparison. :)

Thank you whosehomepage for bailing me out of this one ;) I'm eager to see pictures of your nearby university.

Dear Duma & Infatar, you are both right in a way. While I'm not a student nor am I a french citizen, I have some roots in France and my work involves learning quite much.. I hope you forgive my desire for anonymity, and continue to browse my pictures of Seoul. More are coming :)

cheers
