Nafplio is situated in Argolida region with a population of around 100.000 Nafplio its self has around 15.000 and with nearby villages the population increases to 20.000+. Another nearby town is Argos which is the main economic center in Argolida perfecture and the most populated city with 40.000 citizens.
Nafplio is the main tourist destination in Argolida which attracts thousands of Athenians every weekend to experience its romantic alleys and and its marvelous architecture.
Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece
Known archaelogical sites are located at a short distance from Nafplio such as Ancient Mycines or Epidavros even Argos its self is built on an ancient city. Argolida is also known for its fine beaches and the best of all, Tolo :D
Without any doubt Nafplio is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece
