It is the Pudong Intenational Finance Building, also in the top100 listed here.

All I can make of the slanted rooves on the taller and shorter of this quasi twin is to perhaps let sunlight access the green areas/park on either side.

So many other superior talls in Shanghai's Pudong district including the before-mentiond Pudong International Finance Building.

Bocom Financial Towers is/are interesting enough though.

Looks aalmost like a German structure, in a couple of the pics particularly in the 3rd pic.

The facade is very boring and the only thing going for it is its unusual shape and spires.

im getting sick of seeing these short ass buildings in the top 100 . . .what a cheap way to make a building taller. . . a spire. .

the tower is cool but the sonofabitchin spire ruins it for me. . . 6/10

7/10 - The paired triangle shape is sleek and gives good height, but the facade is only fair, and the sections near the roofs that look like huge screen doors are simply **tacky**. Those sawed-off little structures at the base don't seem to blend in that well with the towers, and, Caledon1981, you're right - the spires are such an obvious way to gain height, and they're not even that impressive. A combination of bottom-line and no imagination, perhaps - I mean, when there was a height fight going on in NYC between the Bank of Manhattan, the Chrysler Building, and the Empire State, THOSE architects and developers did it with **CLASS**, not wimpy little antennas! :D

Another great building. I like its design. Two triangular tops on connected towers. The building has a simple look to it but it shows its not that simple.

Why does it look like there is a damn farm next door? :?

i like how the designers made this building (which actually comprises of 2 towers) look like one building. i also like how the German architests made this building look pretty high-techy.

Above average. While the GErman designers made this one look "german", it has a high tech feel. Its angular and slightly unusual shape help it work with its sister tower quite nicely, and that can be hard to do. Thats a good combo, different enough that they balance each other. Still, the facade is boring, at best, and the slanted roof and the spire are not my ideal ways to cap off a building.

Futuristic looking. 8/10.
