I give a 6 because 2 points.
First we don't still have a good skyline, almost the half of the buildings that will be in 3 years are still in construction. For example in Puerta de Hierro, Americas and the Torrena. By the other hand Guadalajara is a nice and beautiful city.

And these aren't the best photos.

the buildings of guadalajara are very smalls and only have one ore two after the 100 m
while monterrey and acapulco have 10 buildings after the 100 m and the majority are about 90 m and less.

There are definately some americans who reside in Guadalajara. Now, there are some towns near Guadalajara that have a lot of retired Americans living around Chapala lake.

Maybe it was a while ago, but it seemed like there were a lot of Americans retiring to Guadalajara. Maybe they were just referring to the area around GDL, like Chapala Lake.

Boring skyline. I am not impress. Should have more skyscrapers based on its density. Typical Ferguz comment if it was a city in the USA. :|

But If I vote like ferguz votes the USA cities I will probably give this city a 3 or maybe a 4. But I am a fair voter and based on what I see I give the city a 6.5. I see some decent buildings and the city has some nice older buildings. It does looks nice to pay a visit.

Guadalajara and Monterrey are competing each other if it wasnt for the gov't that ask for too much documentation on skyscrapers it would look better than Monterrey for sure.

beautiful disigns it only needs to be a lit bit denser and little more hight... owsome plus the new providencia-country 30 floors tower u/c i think its got a cool design for the zone.
