@Momo1435: Is this new building near the Kaminarimon gate? If so, the next time I'm at Kaminarimon I 'll look out for this building. Whenever I'm in Tokyo with the wife, we like to visit this area.

It's closer to the temple then the gate. If you walk to the temple and look to the left you see the Asakusa View Hotel, the new tower is right behind the hotel.

Gosh, they are incredibly slow! I mean, for japanese standards of course.
The fact that it's a concrete (and not steel) structure is probably a reason for it, but even then it's very slow.

I wonder when it will be topped out. I like this tower because it's basically the only other new tower near Sky Tree.
