Congo-Brazza is back and better than before. I'm expecting more than this in the next 5-10 years. Good job Sassou.

Thank you very much Ben76, good job.

You are to blame

Great to see the development and that the rapid growth in the last few years has improved the infastructure.

in 1992 my father worked in this tower (Nabemba tower or Elf tower in the right of the pic) and sometimes we used to go into! at the top the view is spectacular!! You can see all brazzaville wich is known to be in the past as a green city!!

The story of this country is a perpetual waste! so many years have been lost... :ohno:

I was born in this city and despite the fact i grew in france i enjoyed so much when i went during holidays seasons in Brazza!

People used to call it Brazza la belle or Brazza la verte!

Thank you for the pics especially the new airport wich is in the modern standards!

That's why you have to be unified with your older brother, since you guys do what your older brother do.

If i was Kabila, there would be only one Congo.

Who gives a crap about France and Belgium? their days are done. screw them.

Unification is about the peoples of the two countries.

There is nothing deifferent about the two countries. other than colonial garbage. Seems like your brainwashed by that colonial crap. Pray god that i never become president.

France and Belgium isn't Congo,NeCongo, Bayeke and onward is what makes up Congo. Colonial heads were just a dent in time, the history of both countries doesn't begin with them. This is why Congo Brazza, Gabon, and EQ must join SADC.

a total joke

Who give credit to this crap?!! Gabon has now its history! Lumumba is not the story of 1944 Brazzaville!!

Pointe Noire is not Kinshasa and libreville is not Goma!!!

I f you 're become president?? You will be another mobutu sesse soko!!

You don't mind of people who doesn't want this reunification?!! Then a new dictator is in the works...

Trust me I don't need a reunificated congo but just want to see countries like this to be modernized!

Africans use to think that great historical decisions are the aim of our lives but it's not only about this! Economy is the real power that enables people to learn, to care...

If you oppose it doesn't mean others do. i will take it by force. in a tricky way. don't worry how i will do it.

All i have to do is create a reunification rebelion of 30,000 congolese soldiers. they all speak french and lingala. Brazza with 10,000 and Point-Noir will get 20,000 rebels and the reunification revolution is on. simple.
Trust me I don't need a reunificated congo but just want to see countries like this to be modernized!
I don't need your opinion. i repect it , but it will not stop me if i ever have a chance. I don't even have to be a president to do that. i will just influance the government to do just that.

Africans use to think that great historical decisions are the aim of our lives but it's not only about this! Economy is the real power that enables people to learn, to care...
That's you opinion. the country will be a federal state. so moderniation will contimue as you like it.

There is nothing deifferent about the two countries. other than colonial garbage. Seems like your brainwashed by that colonial crap. Pray god that i never become president.

So the days of France are gone for you?

as for a France and Belgium reunification, this won´t happen. Belgians people don´t like French people and viceversa...I know both countries and especially France, for having relatives in that country.

Butembo21, the days of France are anything but gone!

Even though that line is the sad, cold truth, it made laugh because it is the national sport. Nigerians politicians have a worse reputation than their counterparts in the DRC but at least they have facilitated so many things for the average Nigerian.

I think the difference between the Nigerian and the Congolese authorities is that there is a total breakdown in the functioning of state bureaucracy in the DRC. Instead of a checks and balances system, there is only a balances system, meaning that state agencies function independently of one another and there is in each of them an in-built mafia-like structure. They operate without control or supervision. There is no unity of command, which means 100% impunity. In no other country in the world you find such a situation.

property of Mr Sassou Nguesso and familly lol... Yes man.. that's a good one.. I think regardless of how people complain of the president and his family, he is building up the place.. let's look at the positive once ina while ... i mean look at the airport .. yes it was "surfacturation" but the country gets a lovely modern airport..

I hate to be "that guy", but why does Olllombo need to have such a big airport? It doesn't even have a Wikipedia page! Is it meant to act as a "portal" to the north of the country? I don't envision the demand to fill that airport existing for at least 15 more years.
