i'm still confuse whether i should take bellagio residence or the peak
the price is about the same , eventhough the peak is a bit dearer than bellagio

for bellagio residence - type turin 84m2
2 bedrooms + study will cost me around 1.1 billion

for the peak - type small 82m2
2 bedrooms , no study but + maid facility will cost me around 1.4

note that both of the prices are hard cash , less than 3 months- no installment


i have checked both site and both offer perfection in every single aspects that u can think of.

here are some contrasts

Bellagio - located in no.1 location MEGA KUNINGAN

ALREADY FINISHED (except for foyer and front lobby)

landlords can collect the key by october 2005

Plus boutique mall and offices complex

a bit cheaper than the peak

offer a modern european renaissance style



The peak - the highest twin towers in the WORLD
( yey in JAKARTA, of course i wanna have a piece of the pride )

Extremely nice clean cut minimalist new york sort of style

that would give me around 240 millions in 2 year

private lift for every single apartment

My pre-assumptions about bellagio residences:
1. Since there is a mall in it, the building will be very crowded, even the parking lot
2. There is ritz which is taller than your building, this is not very nice indeed ^_^
3. Bellagio residence looks cheap and there is no word with ....est for bellagio residences

for me i choose THE PEAK

cos from my opinion BR is not like Classy apartment (from the look)

while The Peak looks exclusive even though it is more expensive, they have clubhouse at level 40 (u can chit-caht there) including balcony and also take pictures for us :D!

If u like the quite environment take the peak
if u like shopping take bellagio

Yeah, Bellagio Mansion definitely has the better location (for living). But The Peak is closer to office buildings and shopping centers..you can even choose to walk to go to Plaza Indonesia ..it's so close.

i dunno whether am making the right decision.
but dad said bellagio is better option as it is located in MegaKuningan, the rent price expected to be higher .

Bellagio Mansion lebih mahal drpd yg Residence. Saya pribadi tak terlalu suka eksteriornya, terutama yg Residence, terlalu besar sperti 'monster'..
Infrastruktur Bellagio lebih baik daripada The Peak, karena terletak di kompleks Mega Kuningan dengan fasilitas jalan dll lebih baik dan jauh dari rumah-rumah rakyat tak teratur, kedutaan besar banyak terdapat di sana, tapi akses ke Mega Kuningan hanya 2 buah (ke arah Ambasador Mall dan Kuningan Jl Rasuna Said) yang selalu macet di depan Ambassador mall terutama saat peak hours bisa memakan waktu berjam-jam, Monorel akan dibangun melalui depan mal Ambassador, tapi tak menembus Mega Kuningan dan agak jauh dari Bellagio Residence.
The Peak lebih dekat ke arah Jl.Sudirman (jakarta main st) -/+ 50 meter dan tidak 3 in 1 karena bisa ke arah Jl Setiabudi dan nembus ke Kuningan ,tapi lebih dekat dan blended dgn rumah-2 rakyat yg tak teratur (daerah Setiabudi dan Karbela/Karet Belakang. Juga lebih dekat ke halte Busway untuk menghindari kemacetan. Berhadapan/di depannya akan dibangun The Icon Residence.

Bagi saya kalau mo infrastruktur bagus, lebih baik di daerah SCBD (apt Kusuma Chandra, SCBD Suites, The Capital Ressidence, Pacific Place Residence), Selain terletak di Jl Sudirman/Jl Gatot Subroto, juga ada 5-7 akses keluar untuk menghindari kemacetan dan 3 in1, kalau underpass selesai semua, terletak di daerah 3 in 1 dan bukan, dekat dengan halte Busway dan rencana Monorel akan menembus ke dalam SCBD ( ada 2 station: Kusuma Chandra dan JSX building). Bagi saya SCBD is the best!!

well, let's wait and see. people are the same everywhere. it took strict city's laws and heavy fines in singapore to prevent people from drying clothes on balconies. hong kong and bangkok have yet to have such laws in place. yes, i know people who bought the unit can afford dryer, but people also like to save electricity and besides hanging clothes on balconies are so convenient. i am staying in a condo complex here in bkk's prime location yet my neighbors like to dry their clothes using Bt120 hanger (Rp28,500) in their balconies that cost them around Bt120,000/sqm (Rp28.5 juta/sqm) just 2 years ago. :ohno:

Maybe I'm ignorant of such rules, but I don't remember Singapore having laws that prevent people from drying clothes on their balconies. That is part of their house after all. In Singapore, people (those living in government flats anyway) dry their stuff outside, on bamboo poles, and these are perfectly legal. So why shouldn't inhabitants of upscale condos be restricted from hanging their laundry?

I think that this problem can be solved (or reduced in a way) by placing a small balcony for drying clothes on the sides of a unit (so that they're not visible from the main street). Well, people have to hang their clothes somewhere right? :D

Bellagio will have a bad feng shui. :( In the surrounding there will be Saidah Hospital. Hospital = a place for people to die and place for people who are sick. Therefore Hospital will produce "bad qi" for the apartment complex surrounding. In places like Hong Kong, whether or not you believe in feng shui, it is wise not to buy such apartment because no one wants to buy apartments which are located near hospitals.

But if I were to buy million dollar condos, like those in Airlangga, I would consider such things whether or not I believe in feng shui. Afterall the people who have the money and who will buy Airlangga apartments from secondary market are more than likely not those poor and ignorant Indonesians, but rather those Indonesians who have the money and may believe in feng shui.

yes.. mayoritas indonesian ppl less care about feng shui. because indonesia its not cina. cos there lost of like feng shui in indonesia. exp, in moslem tidak boleh closet menghadap Barat atau kiblat. kaki sewaktu tidur tidak boleh menghadap kiblat, dll.. tapi seperti itu bedasarkan Agama karena Kakbah adalah Rumah Allah.

Feng shui its knowladge, but everything about knlowladge rumah dont always di hubungkan dengan feng shui

I can understand very well how cbrooks' comment upset gluttony. Indonesians are not rich but it doesn't mean other people is free to call us 'Poor and ignorant majority Indonesians could care less about feng shui'.

what cbrooks said was wrong, but i don tthink that he meant to direct it to all indonesians, but rather was just aiming it at gluttony. Now i can understand how cbrooks would react this way because gluttony did respond to his harmless feng-shui suggestions/opinions with unecessary attitude

and i knew that this was bound to happen, but aaaaaanyway..

yeah. it seems that in that picture the ritz carlton is fenced off by a marbled wall. what do u guys think of that? i think that it is attractive, but at the same time i dont like it because it makes the sidewalk area look cramped and closed in. btw.. is there any news on the other half of the ritz carltoncircle?

Are they open yet? I think it still looks very empty. And, Correct me If Im Wrong, one of Indonesian Minister bought a unit in the topmost of Bellagio Mansion, right?

Residence mah terlalu ribet desainnya. Kalau Mansion sederhana tapi bener-bener keren abis. Setidaknya bentuknya normal. :) :) :)
