I don't think so because it is kind of eco-resort. You can stay there for a bit more than US$100 a night maybe in low season, I am not sure. You can check out the website.

Yes! rainforest is not only in Koh Kong province but its has in many other provinces...!

I can say that koh kong is nearest to p-penh keep it better for tourism unlike..Pursat, Mondul kiri, Rathanak kiri.......I went there I saw only near the raod got tree BUT go deep inside no more...or only rubber tree own by rich people.:nuts:

Koh Kong and Pursat sepereted by (Kro Vanh moutian) and the best wood name (kro nhoong) only has in Pursat but Koh Kong mostly got only mormal trees so that rainforest in Koh Kong look untouched. This is what my brother said, he is a sernior forester.

Anyways, I can't explain more than this.... About this Kro nhoong why it's not growing everywhere or every forest.

That's why investor to do gold minig at Pursat......,...,.. is just cut the tree than sale out buy gold.

Do you feel wonder ? why concession/investment in the jungle ? why not empty land....or a forest with no big tree ? due to Cambodia got a lot of free land ?

You know (Kro Nhoong) growing as a group or block, so if they found it they will cut it all so that center of the above forest look like old man's head m))
