please come back im sure he didnt mean to say what he did please you were a great person to have here and besides must i remind everyone here that we were beginners once. We cant just go judging other unfairly because we have improved and think we are better than others. Yeah come on man! Look.....when i was new here i totally sucked, and now i am much better. Same with you. Maybe you might not start off great the first time you try it, but if you continue to work and learn new stuff, then i'm sure you'll be a good modelers like us! And just to let you know, SSL9595 shouldn't have said "Thats really not a model, and it really looks like you put no effort into it. No offense" because yes offense! Plus his models aren't better than anyone elses models here. I sent him a PM a couple days ago telling SSL9595 to forgive me if i ever hurted his feelings, but now it looks like he hurted YOUR feelings. Anyway my point is that you should come back!!!! Also if you struggle, you can always get help from someone here so they can give you tips! Or you can also work on a model with someone!

What I did was, I found a picture of the actual building, used the eyedropper tool, and used those colors

Ahhhh much better. Just one tip statueoflibertywtc3......make sure you use realistic colors, like dont use bright colors. ;)

You can actually go into paint and make the lines very thin

Well i gotta lot of work to do. Right now i'm gonna work on my battery park city models and get them done. I have to to The Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank Building(Near NY city hall park), Cove Club, Liberty View Condominiums, Battery Pointe, Parc Place and Tribeca Pointe. I will start the Queensboro bridge next year.
