Nice pics, once again you've captured this neighborhood nicely.

Thanks. Nice pics.

Louisville has some of the best architecture south of the Ohio.

I was there in about 2001 and took some street that went directly south of downtown through an extensive old neighborhood that looked something like those pics.

Does anyone know what that neighborhood is?

It's called "Old Louisville".

Thanks. Didn't realize that was Old Louisville. For whatever unknown reason, I thought Old Louisville was more on the eastside of town.

More to the east you'll find cherokee n such. MUCH larger homes, but most very old and all very rich, posh and fancy.

Soulbrotha, were some of those shots from Manual? Hah I've had English with a similar view as one of those pictures.

BTW that stretch of houses(first picture) is one of my favorite places in Louisville. The houses are GORGEOUS and all deep dark reds and maroons. Great in the winter and spring, but they are best in the fall and look absolutely wonderful
Great shots, an awesome capture of Old Louisville. I love the last picture, another great couple of homes.

You gotta love the stone work on these houses, that' something that you don't see today.
