VietinBank Business Centre breaks ground

Foster + Partners present first project in Vietnam - VietinBank Business Centre

A ground-breaking ceremony has been held for VietinBank Business Centre, Foster + Partners' first project in Vietnam. Bringing together the Bank's headquarters, conference, hotel and leisure facilities, the landmark towers are strategically located between central Hanoi and the airport, demonstrating the emergence of Vietnam as an international financial centre.

The 300,000 sq m mixed-use development comprises two towers, connected by a 7 storey podium building containing conference facilities, luxury shops, cafes and restaurants and topped by roof top gardens. The taller tower - at 68 storeys - will provide an energy efficient new headquarters for VietinBank, one of Vietnam's largest banking groups. The second - 48 storey tower - will house a five-star hotel, spa and serviced apartments.

The scheme has a progressive environmental agenda and is designed to mitigate the effects of the area's high levels of humidity using a low-energy, desiccant wheel. The system draws in humidity, separating the water from the atmosphere and exhaling hot, dry air, which can then be cooled by ground water and released back into the buildings. A serrated facade, made up of projecting fins at 4.5m intervals, provides both shade and a unit of measurement for cellular offices around the perimeter of the floor plate.

Mouzhan Majidi, Chief Executive of Foster + Partners, remarked: "This is an exciting moment for the practice, as we break ground on our first project in Vietnam. Our design is a sustainable response to the climate and traditions of Hanoi and the tower will have an important symbolic presence - VietinBank will rise above the surrounding buildings to be one of the first landmarks you see at the gateway to the city."

Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank For Industrial and Trade (Vietinbank) will start the construction of Vietinbank Tower in Ciputra Urban - Hanoi, with the participation of the international well-known contractors on October 20.

The offices, hotels, shopping centres complex work designed by Norman Forster, the world leader in design with 68 storeys high with total staring investment of 300 million US dollar, covers the land area of 30.000 square metres. P/s: 400 million US dollar

The bank will soon organise international bidding to select contractors. Most likely the units from South Korea as Kumho E&C or Hyundai E&C will be selected, said Pham Huy Hung, the bank's president.

Khởi công tòa nhà cao thứ 4 Hà Nội

Ngày 24/10, Tập đoàn Dầu khí Việt Nam (PVN) tổ chức lễ khởi công dự án chung cư cao tầng và dịch vụ thương mại Hanoi Time Tower cao 41 tầng ở khu đô thị mới Văn Phú, Hà Đông, Hà Nội.
Công trình gồm 39 tầng nổi và 2 tầng hầm với tổng diện tích sàn xây dựng là 109.685 m2 có số vốn đầu tư lên tới 1.500 tỷ đồng.

Diện tích sàn căn hộ kinh doanh của dự án là hơn 62.000 m2 và gần 8.000 m2 sàn thương mại. Dự án có khoảng 280 chỗ đỗ xe ô tô tại tầng hầm, 322 chỗ đỗ xe tại tầng nổi và khoảng 600 căn hộ với diện tích đa dạng từ 84 m2 đến 116,5 m2. Riêng căn hộ Duplex có diện tích từ 154 m2 đến 216 m2.

Dự án nằm ở vị trí gần nhiều tuyến đường quan trọng như đường cao tốc Láng Hòa Lạc, tuyến đường sắt trên cao chạy dọc Quốc lộ 6, đường vành đai 4 và đường Lê Trọng Tấn.

Công ty Cổ phần Kinh doanh dịch vụ cao cấp Dầu khí Việt Nam (thuộc PVN) làm chủ đầu tư. Dự án Hanoi Time Tower được chuyển nhượng từ Công ty Văn Phú Invest.

Dự kiến, năm 2014, chủ đầu tư sẽ đưa tòa nhà Hanoi Time Tower vào vận hành, khai thác sử dụng.

Công trình này được xếp vào một trong những tòa nhà chọc trời ở Hà Nội, đứng sau Vietinbank Tower (362 m), Keangnam (cao 345 m), Hà Nội Lotte Center (cao 267 m).

Sáng 20/10, Ngân hàng TMCP Công thương VN (VietinBank) đã long trọng tổ chức Lễ khởi công xây dựng công trình Trụ sở chính VietinBank Tower – Trung tâm thương mại tài chính ngân hàng tại Khu đô thị Ciputra, quận Tây Hồ, Hà Nội. Đó cũng là công trình chào mừng Đại lễ kỷ niệm 1000 năm Thăng Long – Hà Nội.

VietinBank Tower có vốn đầu tư 400 triệu USD, tương đương gần 8.000 tỷ đồng (100% vốn của VietinBank), dự kiến đến năm 2014 dự án sẽ hoàn thành và đưa vào sử dụng.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, ông Phạm Huy Hùng - Chủ tịch Hội đồng quản trị VietinBank cho biết: Tổ hợp dự án gồm các cấu phần: trụ sở làm việc chính của VietinBank, trung tâm hội nghị, khách sạn và khu vui chơi giải trí, toạ lạc tại một vị trí chiến lược nằm giữa trung tâm thành phố Hà Nội và sân bay Nội Bài.

Với tổng diện tích sử dụng 300.000 m2, tổ hợp Ciputra bao gồm 2 toà tháp, được liên kết với nhau bằng khối đế 7 tầng dành cho các mục đích sử dụng chung như phòng hội nghị, hội thảo, trung tâm thương mại cao cấp, quán cafe và nhà hàng ăn uống. Trên nóc khối nhà 7 tầng là vườn cây cảnh trang trí.

Đáng chú ý ở khu vực tháp thứ nhất, cao 68 tầng, được thiết kế để tiết kiệm tối đa năng lượng tiêu thụ, sẽ là trụ sở làm việc chính mới của VietinBank, một trong số những ngân hàng lớn nhất Việt Nam hiện nay. Nơi đây sẽ là môi trường làm việc lý tưởng cho cán bộ ngân hàng. Tháp thứ hai, 48 tầng, sẽ là nơi đặt khách sạn 5 sao, khu chăm sóc sức khoẻ, dịch vụ spa và căn hộ cao cấp cho thuê, với điểm nhấn là “quán bar kim cương” hứa hẹn sẽ là điểm đến cho những bữa tối mang phong cách hiện đại hoàn toàn mới trên nóc của toà nhà.

Tổ hợp tòa nhà được định hướng thân thiện môi trường với thiết kế giảm thiểu các tác động của môi trường xung quanh, có độ ẩm không khí cao với việc sử dụng hệ thống quạt hút ẩm tiêu hao năng lượng thấp. Hệ thống này có chức năng hút ẩm, tách nước khỏi không khí và phả ra hơi nóng cùng không khí khô, nguồn khí này ngay sau đó được làm lạnh bởi nước ngầm và đưa trở lại vào các tòa nhà. Mức độ tiết kiệm năng lượng khoảng 35% so với các tòa nhà khác.

Ông Mouzhan Majidi, Giám đốc điều hành của Foster & Partners (đơn vị hàng đầu thế giới trong lĩnh vực tư vấn thiết kế) cho biết thêm: “Đây là dự án đầu tiên của Foster & Partners tại Việt Nam. Thiết kế của chúng tôi là sự kết hợp hài hòa giữa tính bền vững và môi trường truyền thống lâu đời của Hà Nội. Đồng thời tòa tháp sẽ là hiện thân mang tính biểu tượng quan trọng – VietinBank sẽ vươn lên mạnh mẽ so với các tòa nhà xung quanh trong vùng để trở thành một trong những điểm nhấn đầu tiên trên cửa ngõ vào thành phố”.

Bên cạnh đó, ngân hàng còn tích cực thực hiện các nhiệm vụ chính trị, an sinh xã hội như việc đóng góp cho TP Hà Nội hơn 22 tỷ đồng cải thiện môi trường, xây 100 căn nhà xã hội dành cho người nghèo của thành phố. TP Hà Nội ghi nhận những tâm - sức của CBCNV của Ngân hàng TMCP Công thương VN. Đặc biệt, với việc khởi công công trình ngày hôm nay, VietinBank là ngân hàng đầu tiên xây dựng tổ hợp trung tâm thương mại tài chính ngân hàng tại khu vực Đông Nam Á, cao thứ nhì ở Hà Nội. Đó sẽ là công trình thế kỷ, mang kiến trúc tiêu biểu của Thủ đô Hà Nội và Việt Nam.

Bên cạnh đó, Phó Chủ tịch Thường trực cũng chỉ đạo, UBND huyện Từ Liêm tạo điều kiện để dự án triển khai thuận lợi trên địa bàn. Hơn nữa, với quá trình xây dựng trong 3 năm, đòi hỏi các yêu cầu về chất lượng, kỹ - mỹ thuật rất khắt khe nên các đơn vị chủ đầu tư, tư vấn thiết kế, thi công công trình phải nỗ lực để dự án triển khai an toàn, hoàn thành đúng hẹn và đi vào khai thác hiệu quả.

Đến dự Lễ khởi công có ông Võ Đức Huy - Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Đảng ủy Khối Doanh nghiệp Trung ương; các Phó Chủ nhiệm Văn phòng Chính phủ Phạm Đức Huy và Phạm Viết Muôn; ông Nguyễn Đồng Tiến - Phó Thống đốc NHNN Việt Nam; ông Nguyễn Đức Hạnh - Phó Tổng thanh tra Nhà nước; ông Phí Thái Bình - Phó Chủ tịch thường trực UBND Tp.Hà Nội; đại diện lãnh đạo các Bộ, Ban, Ngành Trung ương và Hà Nội, UBND Tp Hà Nội, UBND Q.Tây Hồ, huyện Từ Liêm; các đồng chí nguyên lãnh đạo NHNN, Ngân hàng Công thương qua các thời kỳ; quý khách hàng, nhà đầu tư; đại diện đơn vị tư vấn thiết kế, giám sát; các lãnh đạo cơ quan quản lý báo chí, cơ quan báo chí và đông đảo phóng viên,…

Tại buổi lễ Chủ tịch VietinBank Phạm Huy Hùng cho biết: Tính đến hết Quý III/2010, tổng tài sản của VietinBank đạt 320 ngàn tỷ đồng, nguồn vốn huy động đạt gần 300 ngàn tỷ đồng, dư nợ cho vay và đầu tư cho nền kinh tế đạt trên 280 ngàn tỷ đồng. Tốc độ tăng trưởng bình quân quy mô hoạt động kinh doanh trong những năm gần đây của VietinBank từ 20-30%/năm, thị phần hoạt động tại Việt Nam chiếm khoảng 12%. VietinBank không ngừng mở rộng mạng lưới họat động trong nước và quốc tế. Việc đầu tư xây dựng công trình VietinBank Tower sẽ là một bước tiến mới của VietinBank trên thị trường tài chính ngân hàng Việt Nam và từng bước vươn ra thị trường thế giới. Số vốn đầu tư dự kiến ban đầu là 400 triệu USD, VietinBank Tower sẽ được hoàn thiện và đưa vào sử dụng vào đầu năm 2014. Công trình hứa hẹn sẽ mang lại cho VietinBank những giá trị mới, khẳng định vai trò và vị thế của VietinBank trong hệ thống ngân hàng Việt Nam và khả năng hội nhập quốc tế sâu, rộng của VietinBank…

Cũng tại buổi lễ, ông Richard Hawkins, Trưởng văn phòng đại diện của Foster and Partners (đơn vị tư vấn thiết kế) tại Hồng Kông cho biết: Công trình Trụ sở chính – VietinBank Tower là công trình đầu tiên của Foster and Partners tại Việt Nam. Công trình sẽ là môi trường làm việc lý tưởng, có công năng vận hành tốt, nâng cao hiệu quả họat động, quản trị điều hành, đưa vị trí của VietinBank lên tầm cao mới. Việc triển khai công trình này chứng tỏ khả năng hội nhập mạnh mẽ của VietinBank với thế giới

Phó Chủ tịch thường trực UBND Tp Hà Nội Phí Thái Bình cho biết, đây là công trình có vốn đầu tư trong nước lớn nhất của Hà Nội hiện nay. UBND Tp. Hà Nội sẽ tạo điều kiện tốt nhất để hỗ trợ VietinBank triển khai dự án. Ông cũng yêu cầu VietinBank và các nhà thầu triển khai tích cực các kế hoạch, đảm bảo đúng tiến độ, chất lượng, an toàn và hiệu quả.
Công trình VietinBank Tower được hoàn thiện sẽ tạo thêm một điểm nhấn kiến trúc mới cho Thủ đô Hà Nội một ngàn năm tuổi.

Project consortium consists of two 68-storey tower and 48 floors are connected by the body of the sole of 7 floors with a total construction area of 300,000 m2. The complex includes the components: the main offices of VietinBank, conference center, hotel and entertainment district ...

In the first tower, 68 storeys high, designed to save up energy consumption, will be the new headquarters of VietinBank work. Tower II, 48th floor, is where the 5-star hotel, the healthcare, spa and luxury apartments for rent, with the highlight is "Diamond Bar" promises to be a destination for the dinner-style modern completely new on the roof of the building.

Project scheduled for completion in 2014

They want to wait for information(confirm) about the photos of the project ?!

I´m not crazy about the design of the main building but the tower will certainly make a huge impact on Hanoi´s skyline.

The sloping top reminds me a lot of 2WTC in NYC, especially that diagram of this thing from the side :)

After VietNam's turbulent history this is certainly a promising sign that it will also emerge in this century as a much more prosperous nation with a healthy economy. I really like the design, very bold and futuristic.

This tower is not under construction yet! they're still preparing to build it!

Oh I get it now. The smaller tower has the triangle top and the taller tower has the V top.

and two other supertalls (PVN Tower, 79fl, by Pelli Clarke Pelli + Hoasen Hotel, 400m, by Norman Foster) are in queue. The are all located in the western part (Phiatay) of Hanoi.

It's really cool tower in Ha noi. But I think they have a little bit of activities on site. The progress of construction of Bored piles is going down. Maybe it's related to delay of disbusement. Could anyone working here confirm it?

I'm not working there and I don't know if they are behind schedule but I can see on the last update circles of the drilled piles almost everywhere on the site. I can imagine they are close to the completion of the foundation and soon bottom concrete slab will be constructed. Of course it's just me guessing based on the pictures if someone have actual information please do share with us.

Well, because the Ciputra Hanoi International City is not that easily accesible like other parts of the city due to the fact that you have to show your ID or your passport to enter the Ciputra Hanoi International City. The area is kinda protected/private. So, Hanoian photographers aren't that interested in taking pictures in this area of Hanoi.

Anyway, probably this one will rise by the end of this year or even next year. :(
