〔马六甲18日讯〕首席部长拿督斯里阿里鲁斯旦透露，一家日资公司将在马六甲国际贸易中心投资2千200万令吉，发展三星级酒店。



他表示，该日资公司代表在今日傍晚巡视地点，并预支投资额的10％款项。



他说，这座三星级酒店共有189间客房。



此外，他表示，州内必须兴建更多酒店，以容纳更多游客的需求。



他说，除了一般酒店，州政府最近也已经批准酒店业者在五屿岛、双岛城及丹绒吉宁三个地点兴建水上度假村。



另一方面，他表示，州政府已经委任一家新加坡公司负责修复英雄广场的建筑工程，预料该工程可在明年7月完成。
