heheh yeah the whole left side of the pano is for the convention center which is surrounded by hotels, and special designed office buildings so they can go in nice in postcards behind the Center :p

Nice! And nice apartment development going on, on the right.

yep yep

TO THE LEFT:
As recent as the 1990's, it was all low rise 4 storey buildings. But with the construction of the convention center came new grand hotels as well as unique lookin office buildings that hug the convention center.

MIDDLE:
ermm.. just business district founded in 1894

RIGHT:
In the 1960's, several apartments as well as hotels sprung up. However by 1990, it was all slummed with affordable apartments, low income hotels, and other lowrises built in the 60's have been going downhill to this day.

However since 2001, the city contacted a developer to bring in modern condo's as well as affordable apartments that were tall, skinny, and would not sprawl like the ghetto lowrises still there. The city is hopeful that the right side will regain its ego and integrity by 2007.

Sounds about right, but that doesn't even mention our thriving arts and shopping district:)

^pretend its there on the far left :D :D

I notice (no i didnt just notice now) that the ghetto apartments by StupidMellonDumbEgg (or whatever his name is) didnt show up on the right side.. so I might do a redo from a different angle (though it means other buildings may be absent)..

but i would also like to add atleast 5 buildings guys

lol teh hell?...

not trying to be mean at all, but thats a pretty odd skyline.. looks like somthing out of the scifi channel.. or somewhere in India :p

---

with all thesse new buildings in this little boom, i think ill take out the paper bldgs i have in a box and make a new pano sooner. I've been busy moving thus i dont even have the skyline laid out, but rather theyre stuffed in a joystick box.

oohhh Hindu eh? I was also thinking PAPAPA New Gueina because of your jungles there.. im hoping everyone knows that the forest in front of my pano is more of a central park type of thing going on down there..

btw panos will always be bound to change when it comes to the treeline, mountains, etc because the skyline constantly gets larger and larger that soon i will have to start putting our older buildings in the back where many of em will go unseen.

Well, isn't that what happens in real skylines? We can always keep our old photos.:)
