there is such a thing as too simple though. the glass is ... too clear? I'm a fan of reflective, dark coloured glass. Looks far better on a skyline than a clear/green-ish glass. Move over Vancouver.

Wouldn't that take away from the views though? I don't think condo owners necessarily want their windows to be tinted.

Not necessarily. Tint is always easier to see out of, than it is to see in. Those sort-of 'hidden balconies' also look better than just plain clear glass, and it's just that - tinted balconies. If you really want to marvel at your view, go stand on your balcony and look over the glass.

I just think that the clear glass looks horrible from a far (and up close) and just looks like they've put in minimal effort to hide the fact it's a residential tower.

I don't know, I guess we just have different opinions on architectural types between our counties. If a tower like that were so much as proposed over here, many people would be annoyed and call it straight up ugly.
