i really think it is a district in northeast of tabriz.like elahiye.you're sure it aint Tabriz?
if its not tabriz where could it be.... cant be north since the mountain has no trees.can't be south since the tree's(derakhte besm) can't be planted in a warm weather usually.some hints?is it a big city or small?

Built around 750 BC in the south of the Median capital Ecbatana (Hamedan) on a natural hill near the modern city of Malayer, Nushijan is the most important Median site in Iran, it has been constructed in three stories and is 27 meters high, inside the fortress there are two fire temples, a large pillared palace (known as Apadana), some storerooms and houses for storing food and provisions, and a central parlor.
