There was great media coverage in Melbourne recently on a block of land 650square meters with an old house on it selling for approx $1.9 m. in Toorak setting some kind of record for Land value.

I was just going through some web pages looking for construction news in NZ and came across an article on NZs Mini Surfers come Gold Coast area of Tauranga , Mt Maunganui where a block of land across the road from the surf beach sold for $4m ,land size 675 square meters .View on www.knowledgeplex.org/news/35500.html. The sky is the limit .

Well...Eastern Suburb, Sydney. Didn't the Aussie Home Loan guy bought a waterfront vacant land for 30 million dollars?

we've had vacant lots on the Soverign islands sell for up to $6million. Ocean front blocks on Hedges Avenue 'Millionaires Row' have sold for $8 million.
