Why not? Maragheh is a large and important city, it was once the capital of Ilkhanid mongol empire.

never been in maraghe but I didn't thought such buildings are there.btw my friends which have been there say it has a nice green area around the city

The fact is that the cities are being developed and Maragheh is one of them, but the role of some big construction companies, like Atisaz which built Golha towers, cannot be ignored.
