Kyoto Station - 10 year anniversary

Kyoto station, completed at a cost of 1.3 billion dollars in 1994 has just had its 10th anniversary. I just wanted to know what your feelings were on Hiroshi Hara's magnum opus.

I was completely blown away by it first time I went to Kyoto. Easily one of the world's best stations, but sooo out of place in Kyoto. Seems like it would fit perfectly in Shinagawa.
