those are some nice houses, old look and no tacky modern stuff

here are some nice villas, the body of the villa is nice and the material/windows etc
but the thing that again is noticable , is the bad roofs, these villa roofs seem to be a huge problem for 21st century iranians

the plastic red colour , and the overly flatness and un-paralleled structure of the roof give the whole building a playmobile plastic look and a very industrial feel to the environment, especially the ones that are just like a folded piece of paper that are placed on the building like the second picture
if they are going to make it open sided, then it should be exactly the length of the house, not sit an extra 30 cm over its ledge

someone explain wtf these horrible houses are, who could even come up with such designs

just take a look at the houses in masoule and many of the old houses in the alborz region, they have either white/cream cement facades with wooden doors (sometimes painted in blue) and usually have red or white/grey ceramic rooftops just like the ones in spain/greece etc, yet, our builders decide to follow lego designs

a villa in anarvand, it still has a disney type layout but the guy as made some use of natural traditional materials like stona and white cement, with wooden doors, in a descent proportion, also, he has a not-bad roof with good materials (traditional texture and color)
