Hello everybody, as I'm intending to visit Almaty in the upcoming year, I'd be really glad if you could give me some advice about the hotels in Almay. As I read in the internet, the prices are quite expensive, but I'm unsure if all the Almaty hotels are listed, so I might miss some hotels in my search. I'm looking for a room within 5000 - 10 000 tenge for a night.

If you could help me with the choice for a nice and pleasant stay in a reasonable price, would be very grateful. :)

Hello, imho for that pricerange all i can suggest is to choose 1room-apparts for daily rent. That would be better than hotel room according to price to quality ratio.

I've stayed there this summer, bit far form city center. However nice rooms, and services. About 20 minutes to center via bus.

Does anybody have some experience with Hotel Astana (http://www.kazhotels.kz/ru/2010-02-16-15-15-54?task=dobooking&selectedProperty=37). (Not Astana Intercontinental)!

And if you have, tell me how will it be better to book it from internet (My best source for booking: Booking.com isn't helping me here).

I'm hesitating as well for the Renion hotel, seems slightly better, is in more websites present, including booking.com, but seems far away from the city centre and I don't have my car during my trip.

It's in the city center, but not that good hotel. I would suggest to rent an apartment in the city center. (http://krisha.kz/a/search?cat=rent.flat&das[rent.period]=1&das[live.rooms]=&das[_price.srch][l]=&das[_price.srch][h]=&das[price.currency]=1&das[_sys.hasphoto]=&das[flat.building]=&das[flat.renovation]=&das[flat.phone]=&das[inet.type]=&das[flat.floor][l]=&das[flat.floor][h]=&das[flat.toilet]=&das[live.furniture]=&das[live.square][l]=&das[live.square][h]=&das[live.square_l][l]=&das[live.square_l][h]=&das[live.square_k][l]=&das[live.square_k][h]=&_txt_=)

Or if you prefer hotel choose other hotels Kazzhol, Uyut (http://www.hotel-uyut.kz/).
