yeap, I'm a Local in miami, I'm new on this site and wanted to tell about Miami, and Miami is getting ready in 2005 for its biggest construction boom in History, and thats a fact, this time next year Miami will have the MOST TOWER CRANES EVER, over 25 YELLOW AND BLUE AND WHITE Cranes will go up over the CITY OF MIAMI ALONE. and its all along Biscayne Bay from N.W. 36 st. down to S.W. 16 st. in the Brickell Area., WOW GET ready for these pics next year AUGUST 2005. FIVE TOWERS will GO UP OVER 50 Stories including the OPERA TOWER, THE PLAZA ON BRIKELL TOWERS ( 2 ), and Two over 60 stories, THE MARINA BLUE and the QUANTUM twin Tower, And don't forget THE TALLEST of them all under construction the 65 story 900 BISCAYNE :) , AND THATS NO JOKE , just next year Alone !!! :cheers:

WOW, Great Pictures, I hope you were the passenger in that car, but anyway, very nice :) , could you imagine by SUPERBOWL 2007 in MIAMI at Pro Player Stadium, those buildings could double in size if All the buildings planned or under construction are completed by then, well its going to be close. Some of the New Towers could be topped off by then , but not completed . But what a sight that will be for the Nation to see the NEW MIAMI ON TV in 2007 !!!, ITS GOING TO HAPPEN, and theres no stopping them , because more than half of the condos are already SOLD OUT, TOWER 1 of the Two 49 -story EVERGLADES BY THE BAY is SOLD OUT, PLAZA ON BRICKELL is half sold out at 52-stories each, ALL Four 60-PLUS story TOWERS on Four together city Blocks of Biscayne Bvld south of I-395 will be going up this fall and all finished in time for the SUPER BOWL 2007. THE OMNI AREA North of the Performing Arts Center will triple its buildings in the next two years, all 4 towers are going to be 50 Plus stories and I'm Not counting the ONYX, ONYX2, ICE, ICE2, Platinum, STARLOFTS, and the BLUE CONDO, at 40 stories is the one that started the new UPTOWN MIAMI area. Also the IVY Towers along the Miami River with the TWO Brickell on the River Towers at 42 and 45 stories , The Laditutde on the River at 45 stories, The Verika, and the INFINITY at Brickell, theres so many more, its going to be GREAT ! :cheers:

This Sounds like a Major Project with the team of Architects of FISHER ISLAND, thats got to have a Great look, Any Pictures or websites for this, just curious. I heard Tower 1 will have 48 stories and Tower 2 around 35 stories. That property does'nt look that big, but its for 568 units its going to be tight.

I think it's now called "The Avenue". And I suspect it's pretty far along.

Thanks Dale, "THE AVENUE ", sounds like a winner, ground just broken, more condos going up on Brickell, than ever before, MARY BRICKELL would have been proud to see her area boom in the 2000's. I'll bet in one of those bright stars UP there, shes watching proudly.

WHATS up in MIAMI, MTV MUSIC AWARDS are IN THE HOUSE, and the MARINA BLUE CONDO Tower Construction Noise can be heard from ACCROSS THE STREET. and its too late to buy them, lol their all SOLD OUT. Including The 900 Biscayne Tower and TEN MUSEUM Tower. The FEELING of hearing the POUNDING of Equipment hit the ground for foundations !

YES STREET, Its already on the RISE , JUST TO THE WEST of THE OLD EVERGLADES HOTEL, where the EVERGLADES by the BAY is going, IT HAS a BLUE Construction TOWER CRANE on top, and SAYS DOWNTOWN LOFTS on top, Just east of N.E. 2 nd AVE and 1st Street., ITS just past 12 stories now ,

RX, thats the ONE, YOUR RIGHT :) , I thought of 12 stories, but it could be Over 6 Stories by now, lol. Thats the ONE , DOWNTOWNLOFTS 1, and DOWNTOWNLOFTS 2 is going acccrose the street from the SALES CENTER on the corner of N.E. 2nd AVE. :cheers:
