I remember when I was little, I used to be VERY AMAZED everytime i pass sudirman and see those line up of bank buildings. Now they're just like another of the many hundreds of skyscrapers in the city, although the memories taht I had - as Jakarta's first few cool-looking, glass-facade skyscrapers - will remain. :) Those buildings, and Menara Mulia, BRI Tower and GKBI Tower represent the construction boom of the 90s, particularly office towers.
I think the 00s will be remembered as the boom of residential towers.

Wisma Mulia, my second favorite skyscraper in Jakarta after Wisma 46

Glassy, good proportion (width to height ratio) so it looks big and very tall, sits on side of main road / highway so it's easy to view the whole building nicely :D

VRS, don't translate a tower name to an English Name.. It's fine if it were Menara Bank Mega to Bank Mega Tower ... but don't ever translate Bank Indonesia to Central Bank Indonesia :) and the Tourism Department office were named Gedung Sapta Pesona :)
