Hi guys, im doing a final year project on planning in Dublin and I wanted to use adamstown as a good example, does anyone actually know if its as safe as it looks or is it dodgy at night? cheers :cheers:

AFAIK it's not a dodgy area if that helps. Not really familiar with it though.

No, Adamstown is not dodgy at night. You would happy walk around after dark without getting that uneasy feeling you do in some areas.

Adamstown is totally safe but it is so small that this isn't really surprising. The property crash has stopped new development in the area. When it reaches its target population of 25,000 it might be a different story, but crime always rises as population does. As areas go it's one of the nicer ones.
