You should come to the ultra-huge meeting we are planning for the end of september in Chicago. I will be there..cant you guys come to Chicago instead? Dutch forumers or not, we plan to have a meet when Swede comes to the city, looks like it'll probably be a SSC/SSP one: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=123570 http://www.skyscraperpage.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=50593 jada August 25th, 2004, 07:02 AM well if its a NYC meet, I wont be attending. :( I am only going to Chicago's meet. Dennis August 25th, 2004, 09:33 AM Ultra huge meeting in Chicago  hmm, i dont know, hog big is ultra huge for u guys? :) vincent August 25th, 2004, 09:52 AM We can go to places like the ESB, Skyscraper Museum and the Met Roof and shoot pics all day! where is the "Met roof"? Dennis August 25th, 2004, 10:07 AM the roof in the metropolitan museum of art, in central park/5th ave, one of the best places to take skylinepics http://www.maxonline.lsu.edu/pages/trips/ECoast/pics1/RoofSculpture.JPG http://members.aol.com/nycskyscrp/skylines/met1.jpg http://members.aol.com/nycskyscrp/skylines/met2.jpg http://www.wirednewyork.com/museums/metropolitan/metmuseum_roof_garden.jpg gothamaniac August 25th, 2004, 03:44 PM a walk over the brooklyn bridge and a stroll on the brooklyn heights promenade (if the weather is good) is an amazing way to take in both the downtown, midtown and brooklyn skylines. Its a commitment of time (an hour for both), but well worth it. just an idea jada August 25th, 2004, 09:06 PM Ultra huge meeting in Chicago  hmm, i dont know, hog big is ultra huge for u guys? :) Dennis, I dont think this is going to happen unless I am going to Chicago for sure (I am still unsure). But if I go, I am expecting lots of forumers (mostly SSP) from all over the US to attend! I know this sounds silly, but we are all getting together to party and celebrate my 3 year anniversary of being on these skyscraper forums. :D woohoo! Dennis August 25th, 2004, 10:02 PM Sorry Jada, i dont think iwe can go to chicago in september, but we can do a big one next year, then Jan will come too, i guess :D vincent August 26th, 2004, 01:29 AM the roof in the metropolitan museum of art, in central park/5th ave, one of the best places to take skylinepics http://www.maxonline.lsu.edu/pages/trips/ECoast/pics1/RoofSculpture.JPG http://members.aol.com/nycskyscrp/skylines/met1.jpg http://members.aol.com/nycskyscrp/skylines/met2.jpg http://www.wirednewyork.com/museums/metropolitan/metmuseum_roof_garden.jpg oh, i was thinking the baseball team, Met. 3tmk August 26th, 2004, 01:39 AM ^and me who thought that there was an observation deck at the Metlife. :( giergel August 26th, 2004, 01:29 PM I ain't Dutch but I will also visit New York soon. Swede August 26th, 2004, 06:56 PM ok, they can take NY as long as we Swedes get Philly. We never ceeded it to the US, ya know :) Dennis September 17th, 2004, 03:51 PM We r coming guys! Swede September 17th, 2004, 05:26 PM 2004.11.13 is the new date for the meet. everyone up for it? Dennis September 17th, 2004, 05:29 PM Yes, Jan just booked we r from 12 to 16 november in NYC 13 november the big meeting guys! New Jack City September 17th, 2004, 05:59 PM So Saturday, November 13 is the date, who's in? 3tmk September 17th, 2004, 06:04 PM There's still 2 months, until then, I'm In. why did you change the date? Jan September 17th, 2004, 06:04 PM Here is one  Ace September 17th, 2004, 06:06 PM Me 2!!! Dennis September 17th, 2004, 06:08 PM Me! New Jack City September 17th, 2004, 06:09 PM There's still 2 months, until then, I'm In. why did you change the date? So that Jan, Dennis and Ace can come, it's more convenient this way. Swede's still gonna be in the city at that time too. This is gonna be great! Dennis September 17th, 2004, 06:32 PM Dont forget 2 other dutch members, Rietveld and 6fran, they will be in NYC too ! New Jack City September 18th, 2004, 05:34 PM So far we have... 3tmk Ace Dennis Jan Me Swede I think giovanni sasso at SSP is gonna be there too as well as others who just haven't responded to this yet. That's a total of 7. Any ideas on where to meet? Skyscraper museum sounds good? LeCom September 18th, 2004, 07:05 PM List me in there too. Spread the news to main NYC forumers on ssp too (like NYguy), the more the better. Ellatur September 18th, 2004, 10:24 PM list me in (but im a minor :) no beers please) and i will pay for metropolitan New Jack City September 18th, 2004, 10:49 PM Alright then, updated list! Dennis told me two more Dutch forumers are making it. 1. 3tmk 2. 6fran 3. Ace 4. Dennis 5. Ellatur 6. giovanni sasso 7. Jan 8. LeCom 9. rietveld 10. Me 11. Swede Looking good so far! LeCom September 19th, 2004, 03:29 AM Cool, sasso's gonna be there! That's gonna be the only forumer I ever saw twice, unless someone else from Emporis shows up too. LeCom September 19th, 2004, 03:33 AM Also, I dont think we should go to Met. Why don't we hang around, say, Downtown or Midtown - free admission, more cool architecture, and way more food choices. Besides, if its a foggy day, we wont even get to see the skyline if its in the Met... Speaking of foggy days, I think we should pick a day with blue sky so we get nice pics. New Jack City September 19th, 2004, 06:21 AM Yea, for the meet the Met isn't exactly good for a skyscraper meeting. Skyscraper museum sounds good, never been there. Ellatur September 19th, 2004, 08:59 PM skyscraper museum was bit disappointing for me i would prefer the met Dennis September 19th, 2004, 09:01 PM guys, we gave an entire day for us, we can walk around midtown, go to the skyscraper museum and, if we have a clear, nice day.. we can go to the met and make the best panos ever 3tmk September 19th, 2004, 09:17 PM I was disappointed by the museum too will it be just one day? A great place is up north, around the Washington bridge, the views are amazing, except for a "no camera" sign, but what do we care? ;) Otherwise we can go to Fort Tryon, to the cloisters, there's good views too. However I believe the best way will be from the museum, we walk around DT, half-cross the Brooklyn bridge, then back to Chinatown. Then we go to Union square, and we walk up to 42nd street on Park. Then we move around the UN to Times square. From then we can go to Rockefeller center, get some lunch, we could also get into the NBC studios for fun. Then we walk up 5th ave. until the Met. we go to Central park. go to the West Side, and finish all at Times square by night. of course it's my draft, we have a whole month to decide what to see Dennis September 19th, 2004, 10:46 PM I was disappointed by the museum too will it be just one day? Ellatur September 20th, 2004, 01:57 AM where and how shall we meet? lets meet somewhere so that we can kinda know that we are for this meeting, instead of: "are you from ssc?" "GO AWAY JERK!" ______________ lets do something unique, like, lets meet at borders in AOL-TWC front of Phaidon Atlas of Architecture :) or like at the southern land bridge by ground zero at the third window toward the sea, etc :) LeCom September 20th, 2004, 04:58 AM I'm all for 3tmk's plan too, but let's exclude the skyscraper museum. It's been done before and it sucked. On the second day of April Emporis meet we went to the museum and it sucked to bad that someone even got a refund. All in all, let's not go there. Dennis September 20th, 2004, 12:26 PM We can meet on the WFC winter garden :? jacksom September 20th, 2004, 06:00 PM I’m new to NY forum on Skyscrapercity (have visited other forums on the site). I’m interested in attending the Nov. 13 NY meet. I will be coming up from Baltimore. Can someone give suggestions on hotels and how I can get to the skyscraper museum or met (or wherever the meet will take place) via transit (subway or bus). Thanks Dennis September 20th, 2004, 09:35 PM Ha, welcome jacksom, where is Baltimore? jacksom September 20th, 2004, 10:25 PM B-more is the often forgotten city stuck between politics town and cheesesteak city. phxmania2001 September 20th, 2004, 11:20 PM I'm down! FYI Dennis: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/united_states/maryland_90.jpg jacksom September 21st, 2004, 12:13 AM Oh, your serious Dennis. You really don't know where Baltimore is located. Baltimore is a mid-size city (pop. 680,000) located approx. 40 miles north of Washington, DC and 90 miles south of Philadelphia. Its the largest city in the state of Maryland. New Jack City September 21st, 2004, 12:17 AM For hotels, I hear the Pennsylvania Hotel provides for some good prices. Jan September 21st, 2004, 01:37 PM ...where is Baltimore? Shame on you Dennis. Baltimore is one of Rotterdam's sister cities, and it inspired us to take care of our waterfront development and city center renewal. :) Dennis September 21st, 2004, 01:41 PM Shame on you Dennis. Baltimore is one of Rotterdam's sister cities, and it inspired us to take care of our waterfront development and city center renewal. :)   :fart: Jan September 21st, 2004, 01:47 PM :bleh: :nocrook: Swede September 21st, 2004, 07:20 PM Sasso won't make it :( he'd gotten the dates mixed up (told me so on this thread's twin @ SSP) gothamaniac September 21st, 2004, 08:11 PM put me down as well! 3tmk September 21st, 2004, 08:48 PM "are you from ssc?" "GO AWAY JERK!" good point, they'll think we're some kind of protesters, against the Freedom tower, and knowing the NYPD, they'll send us down to Pier 58 :D jmancuso September 21st, 2004, 11:19 PM i might be able to do it. i have family in upstate new york and the city is only 4 hours by car (i have a lead foot).... New Jack City September 23rd, 2004, 02:14 AM Cooooool. Updated list then including info from the SSP thread... 1. 3tmk 2. 6fran 3. Ace 4. Dennis 5. Ellatur 6. gothamaniac 7. jacksom 8. Jan 9. LeCom 10. mancuso 11. phxmania2001 12. rietveld 13. Me 14. Swede 15. TalB gio from SSP won't be able to make it unfortunately. So we got 15 so far, looking good! BTW, I'm gonna sticky this thread. Ellatur September 23rd, 2004, 02:41 AM we can meet in the fountain front of the Plaza Hotel, facing toward the 58th street, with our head tilted toward the trump tower :) or do something of that sort to signify that we are from ssc New Jack City September 23rd, 2004, 02:44 AM Everyone wear bright pink colored shirts that way we know you're from SSC. :D I think it'd be best to start from Downtown then work our way up Midtown. Ellatur September 23rd, 2004, 03:00 AM then lets meet at the third window on the southern land bridge from WFC to ground zero or lets make it uber simple lets meet at the skyscraper museum front of the freedom tower model New Jack City September 23rd, 2004, 03:02 AM Yea, what about inside the Winter Garden or WFC plaza? Both seem as good places. Ellatur September 23rd, 2004, 04:55 AM my crude version of the plan this is my plan, so don't care about it too much so, meet at WFC ground 0 few places in downtown (lets not forget wall street and south street seaport and battery park area) walk up bowery lets visit cooper square :) visit flatiron visit ESB (though i would bet that the line to observatory would be UNBELIEVABLE) coffee break in starbucks in trump tower (and, if we want to, go to met) i forgot basketful of landmarks. i will revise this later :) LeCom September 23rd, 2004, 03:11 PM I think it'd be best to start from Downtown then work our way up Midtown. yes yes yes jacksom September 23rd, 2004, 04:19 PM Thanks for the hotel tips. I'll try the Pennsylvania Hotel. New Jack City September 24th, 2004, 06:13 PM Good spot to meet then? Back of the Winter Garden, in the World Financial Center Plaza... http://www.skyscrapercity.com/photopost/data/3180/24042004_0611Image0065.JPG We'll have plenty of things to stare at while waiting and it's a great spot to take pictures. If it's real cold, then we could wait inside I guess. Dennis October 2nd, 2004, 11:49 AM 6 weeks to go! LeCom October 10th, 2004, 11:20 PM Dennis, change your sig. The first meet I know of took place in April 2004 by the Emporis people. I think I was the reason it's international, cause... well... I'm not an American. And there's prolly been meets of this kind already, so how bout it just says "first SSP international meet in NYC?" Its up to you though - it's your sig. Dennis October 11th, 2004, 02:09 PM my crude version of the plan this is my plan, so don't care about it too much so, meet at WFC ground 0 few places in downtown (lets not forget wall street and south street seaport and battery park area) walk up bowery lets visit cooper square :) visit flatiron visit ESB (though i would bet that the line to observatory would be UNBELIEVABLE) coffee break in starbucks in trump tower (and, if we want to, go to met) i forgot basketful of landmarks. i will revise this later :) great plan! Ellatur October 11th, 2004, 10:46 PM unfortunately, my ubercaring parents said i can't go cuz im underaged............... I GO TO NYC ALL BY MESELF EVERY OTHER WEEK!!!!! Dennis October 13th, 2004, 01:22 PM @Ellatur nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! LeCom October 14th, 2004, 02:42 AM unfortunately, my ubercaring parents said i can't go cuz im underaged............... I GO TO NYC ALL BY MESELF EVERY OTHER WEEK!!!!! That's what my parents said at first about my first meet (well cause you know, everyone on the internet is a gay pervert waiting to rape kids ;) ), but I was able to convince them that nothing bad's gonna happen. Ellatur, try asking them particular questions why you can't go. Crime? NY's the country's safest fukin big town! We're gonna rape you? People online tend to be smarter than the average assholes on the street. You're gonna get lost in the city? Ptfffff. How old are you by the way? 3tmk October 14th, 2004, 05:06 AM honestly if I was a parent and my kid tells me he's getting in town to meet with a group of guys he met on the internet, and on top of that with some skyscraper freakos, I'll send him to his room and tell him to learn all 50 state capitals and not play smart-ass with me! :D anyway, after a certain age, 16 IMO, I believe it's okay for parents to let kids do what they want New Jack City October 14th, 2004, 04:33 PM Ellatur, just make your parents browse threads in the NYC forum, that's all. Show them around this forum. They should be able to tell we're all good people here with a common interest. Dennis October 14th, 2004, 06:25 PM Ellatur, me and the other dutch guys r gonna rape you! lol! Ellatur October 14th, 2004, 11:21 PM i go to the city all the time by myself.. i dunno why they won't let me this time....... should i lie to them?? (gasp) :jk: edited Jan October 15th, 2004, 12:20 AM @ Ellatur: just tell your folks this trip is okayed by drs.drs. Jan Klerks V, president of the Rotterdam Skyscraper Foundation, Secretary of the Dutch Council on Tall Buildings and Committee Chairman of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Your folks can mail me at jan@skyscrapercity.info. Let me know if you need more titles but as far as I can see you ought to receive school credits just for hanging out with us. LeCom October 15th, 2004, 02:14 AM Dennis: save some for me! I'll be the one busy with the face! j/k Jan: You're still a part of the Internet. EVERYONE on the net is a raper sadist perv, even the official guys. Long story short your permission still wont be too convincing for his parents, unfortunately. savethewtc: I'm 16. Does that make me almighty now? Ellatur October 15th, 2004, 04:06 AM so its a month from the meet, how ARE you gonna meet? i won't be able to attend, but i will contribute planning and all :) New Jack City October 15th, 2004, 08:26 PM I got an idea, let's all go to Ellatur's house at the beginning of the meet and pay his parents a visit. Dennis October 15th, 2004, 11:52 PM 4 weeks to go guys! 3tmk October 16th, 2004, 12:09 AM I got an idea, let's all go to Ellatur's house at the beginning of the meet and pay his parents a visit. Yeah, we'll pay a visit to those guys. We'll bring a couple of bats with us, and maybe a shovel or two. btw Ellatur, do you live in Queens, near the Blake and Dumont Aves, if you know what I mean? Otherwise we'll need to schlep them around :D Ellatur October 16th, 2004, 12:09 AM I got an idea, let's all go to Ellatur's house at the beginning of the meet and pay his parents a visit. :) LeCom October 17th, 2004, 04:24 AM ":)"? No, just give us the address :D LeCom October 19th, 2004, 03:19 AM Alright, on to the planning. I strongly suggest that we meet on Saturday, and the rain date should be Sunday of the weekend. I mean, I'm just not willing to come during rain, and it would also suck if the sky is all cloudy. Ellatur October 19th, 2004, 04:21 AM Yeah, we'll pay a visit to those guys. We'll bring a couple of bats with us, and maybe a shovel or two. btw Ellatur, do you live in Queens, near the Blake and Dumont Aves, if you know what I mean? Otherwise we'll need to schlep them around :D what are you trying to do?! anyways i live in NJ :) besides, if i go, no one would be able to keep up with my fast pace! :hahano: about the trip, i would recommend more midtown than downtown 3tmk October 19th, 2004, 04:54 AM ^I meant the recently found body dumpyard for the Gottis ;) anyway, I agree with you, I'm more into Midtown, but we nonetheless cannot forget DT LeCom October 20th, 2004, 01:40 AM Yea, I kinda like Midtown more too, even though DT has thad super feel to it MT doesn't. And where in nj do you live? Cause i live in NJ too. Ellatur October 20th, 2004, 02:33 AM I live in a town called Ridge#&^%# LeCom October 20th, 2004, 05:05 AM Ridgewood of Ridgefield? Is anyone attending this meet over 25? gothamaniac October 20th, 2004, 07:31 PM Will we have the opportunity to venture to any of the other boroughs? I wouldn't mind checking out some of Brooklyn's hoods. Is anyone attending this meet over 25? i'm 32 - i think we'll be the old grey mares of the group :) jacksom October 20th, 2004, 08:12 PM I'm 30... not to offend anyone, but its good to know someone in my age group will be attending. :) Dennis October 20th, 2004, 11:13 PM im 21 Ellatur October 20th, 2004, 11:20 PM Since he used # & ^ % # I would say 5 letters so: Ridge F I E L D :) stalkers! :jk: Jasonhouse October 21st, 2004, 12:16 AM I may try to find a way to make it, and I'm 30. I hear that Jan is coming, and he is in his 40's. Of course, my problem is budget. I can fly up there no problem, but I don't know where I get the $$$$ needed for all of the other expenses (like a place to sleep!), since I still haven't gotten my funding from school yet. (I got some big $$$ from work, but that is being used on bills and my kid) Dennis October 21st, 2004, 12:18 AM OMG Jasonhouse! i HOPE you can come, and Jan is not 40 LOL, hes 32 Jasonhouse October 21st, 2004, 12:19 AM hey, I'm trying to make folks feel better about being as old as me. :) Ellatur October 21st, 2004, 03:39 AM Ridgewood of Ridgefield? where do you reside in? Patrick Highrise October 21st, 2004, 10:38 PM don't forget to walk both brooklyn and manhattan bridges he guys; its a nice :D walk ;) back from Manhattan Bridge to the Midtown area. New Jack City October 22nd, 2004, 02:36 AM how about we start in the morning in Brooklyn, we walk over the brooklyn bridge to manhattan and we continue from there? I don't think that's a good idea since it might be hard for some people to figure out how to get to Brooklyn. Ellatur October 22nd, 2004, 02:39 AM ^ it also can be very time consuming LeCom October 22nd, 2004, 05:47 AM hopefully i can NEXT year. im in middle school currently :) (this information will be deleted in 24 hours) Yo, come to our next open house. I could personally show you around the school, and I would even get community service hours for it :P . And if you make it in, we'll see each other at school a lot next year. Finally I'll be around another skyscraper fan. Got any questions with the school? I'll be glad to help out. Homeboy (what? you're almost from my town... Ridgefuck (considering that ppl usually say #$&*# when they want to say a curse))... Ellatur October 22nd, 2004, 04:32 PM COOL! that would be great! What branch of school do you attend? LeCom October 22nd, 2004, 11:45 PM ABF. The one and only slacker academy. What do you want to attend? Tell me your area of interest, or, even better, your social alignment (preppie, techie, punk, nerd, metalhead, etc). Ellatur October 23rd, 2004, 12:49 AM well, i hope to attend AEDT, and i guess i would be a prep-nerd :) BTW im gonna go to nyc. just for fun gonna visit Barnes and Noble @ 22nd and South Street Seaport -edit i had trouble in the subway... i was gonna get off in nassau broadway to get to sss, but this weird guy said there is another stop before sss, so i believed him and went to brooklyn......... well i took some pictuers from the other side of The river and it was ok. I'm still confused which one goes uptown and downtown.. Daquan13 October 24th, 2004, 12:18 AM November 13. I heard that it will start at Winter Garden. -Daquan13. LeCom October 24th, 2004, 02:17 AM daquan, you're on this forum too? New Jack City October 24th, 2004, 06:21 PM What do you all think about this tentative plan so far? I didn't include the skyscrapers that we'll see, just sites. If you have anymore suggestions, comments, additions, for this Lower Manhattan portion, feel free to add them. After getting off the Manhattan bridge I figure we could check out the neighborhoods like Chinatown, Soho, etc. I put question marks where I'm not sure if people want to do them or not. 10 AM? - Meet inside Winter Garden by palm trees - WTC site - Wall Street - Battery Park - South Street Seaport - City Hall - Skyscraper museum? - Staten Island Ferry? (leaves Manhattan at 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 25 mins long) - Then walk the Brooklyn Bridge into Brooklyn. - From there walk in Brooklyn to the Manhattan Bridge. - Walk the Manhattan Bridge from Brooklyn into Manhattan. LeCom October 24th, 2004, 07:28 PM Let's meet by the southeastern palm in the WFC. Cause, you know, it's near the wtc exhibition and it's where those who come first will hang around anywhere while waiting for others. Come on, we're drawn to skyscrapers like moths to light, each of you knows he/she (btw, do we have any females here?) will definitely check out the exhibit while we're in the WFC. Also, the skyscraper museum is shit; I guessed it in the first place and the rest of Emporis team have proven me right in April. "- Then walk the Brooklyn Bridge into Brooklyn. - From there walk in Brooklyn to the Manhattan Bridge. - Walk the Manhattan Bridge from Brooklyn into Manhattan. " Excellent idea. I've never been to Manhattan bridge and have never walked around Broolkyn between the bridges, I think. And we've gotta make a rain cdate, casue there's no way we'll go there with our cameras during a cloudy day. Ellatur: I got a great idea. Just tell your parents you're going to the city on Nov. 13, either by yourself or "with school friends". Don't tell them where you're really going though. Besides, if you get into my school next year that statement could even be true. New Jack City October 25th, 2004, 04:29 AM lol - I was thinking that maybe we even take the PATH and meet Ellatur somewhere like in Jersey City at least cause it provides for great skyline views too. Cool!! I know next nothing about getting around in the NYC. Need some help!! If I'm arriving by bus (from B-more) at the NY Port Authority on 8th Ave, what trains/bus do I need to take to get to the Winter Garden(or can anyone point me to a website that can assist me). I would like to catch the 11:45 pm bus (latest departure) back to B-more on the same day (would stay over night but the hotel rooms are to damn expensive). Will I have time to complete the tour (not sure how long we're going to be meeting) and make it back to the bus station or should I suck it up and pay for a hotel room for one night? If I was you, I'd stay the night only if I expect to do more in the city the next day. LeCom November 5th, 2004, 02:45 AM Guys, let's think of a rain date. It would really suck balls if it rains or the sky's overcast on Nov. 13. jacksom November 5th, 2004, 02:54 AM There is a hospitality convention going on in the NYC on the weekend of Nov. 13. Because I waited until the last minute (damn right I'm a procrastinator), just about all of the hotels in Manhattan are booked. Looks like I’ll be busing it back to B-more that night. If you really wanna stay the night, don't restrict yourself to hotels in Manhattan, you could look into one of the outer boroughs too. (Forget the Bronx and Staten Island :D) LeCom - Either way, even with rain, I'm gonna meet up at the Winter Garden and we could chill indoors at places and take the subway around. It's a shame I wasn't there but I'm in NYC from 6 to 14 february 2005, so who wants to meet. Swede November 15th, 2004, 07:51 PM Time to ad another story of messed up trip to/from the meet: Had nothin' planned for yesterday except getting to JFK and getting on that Finnair flight to Helsinki (connection back to Stockholm from there). Getting on the J at Bowery - no problem. Getting of the J at Jamaica - no problem. Taking the Airtrain to termainal 8/9 - no problem. Waiting for the check in to open - no problem. Checking in - Flight cancelled!!! :(:(:( Rebooked to SAS direct to Sthlm - full. LOT to Warszawa - oh joy. Finnair to Helsinki - eh. SAS to Sthlm - took some convincing to get Finnair to put us on it (the fact that my brother had to pick up his son from daycare on time finally convinced them we couldn't wait for the next Finnair flight). Missing the buss to our hood/'burb from the aiport by 5 min 'cause we had to wait for our lugage to unload - fun. Next direct bus going 1½ hour later - rotflmfao. Taking the bus downtown instead and thus sitting here at work wthout having been home yet, when I was supposed to have gotten 6 hours of rest/shower/food inbetween - priceless. /time to change my sig. |
