Who can list the top 10 tallest building implosions. I would prefer to have them categorized by the following:
1) Concrete Superstructures (Buildings)
2) Steel Framed Superstructures (Buildings)
3) Industrial Structures
I am mainly interested in the Steel Framed Superstructures (Buildings) as there are several upcoming demolitions scehduled in my city and I am wondering if any will make the top 10 list.

Although it definitely wasn't supposed to happen, the World Trade Center stands out in my mind... :shifty:

The Hudson's Building in Detroit was the largest building ever imploded back when it happened in 1998. I'm not sure if that still holds true (aside from the WTC) or if by "largest" they only meant square footage, and not "tallest". The building was 439 ft tall and contained over 2 million square feet.
