I heard that Asia's fourth tallest tower is going to be built in Sri Lanka.
Have anyone heard about that. Please add images and more information here.

I am kind of skeptical at this time as there are a lot of rumors of China planning on something big as well as Shangri-la's foray into the city's main waterfront. Unless you have them in print and launched, you will never. You have many incomplete buildings and lies from the Indians as usual.

I think you guyz are talking about "Lotus Tower", It's just around 350m .

Cant agree with you more, since all Chinese projects are backed by state these projects will go ahead just like all major infrastructure projects. cant wait to see water front Shangri-La development, will be one of the best up to date given their credentials:cheers:

If the Colombo tower is going to be 350m tall it's clearly not even going to be in the top ten. However it will still be a landmark iconic tower for Colombo. The Space Needle in Seattle is only 184m tall yet it is an icon for that city.

Srry bro, i wish it could be in Downtown, but they are building it like 40km north of colombo and its like 4 km away from the ocean

It's going to be in Peliyagoda which is basically Colombo. Not close to the ocean like the pictures imply but on the banks of the Kelaniya river.

Why is the Sky Tower-Auckland-New Zealand, also designed by Craig Moller who desinged the Mackau Tower missing from this link. It is the tallest building in teh Soutehrn Hemisphere
