i just went to the dubai GIS website, where all the maps are, and in the updated projects map there seems to be a dubai pearl project to be taking place close to the palm jumaira. anyone heard of this dubai pearl b4 ?

I noticed that one too and I looked for info on it but couldnt find anything. Its Pearl of Dubai I think and not Dubai Pearl (Dubai Pearl being the project Dubai Lover linked to).

Noticed it too, but ignored it cuz it's just like many other projects in that map which are very confusing like the Jebel Ali Airport, the Jebel Ali Beach Improvement project (could be known as Rio de Jumeirah) etc.

^No, the Moon is gonna be built in The Bahamas, they've confirmed in their last newsletter about a month ago. It would be cool if "The Pearl" would turn out to be something like the moon and have like a strict Pearl theme to it just like The Moon's. Tacky, but fun!
