Na notice ko nga yuppies of Bacolod subong wala na ya ga tikal lang sang ila bag-o nga awto kag bag-o nga balay nga hatag sang ila ginikanan. They now show-off with their friends how successful their careers are. Indi ka subong "IN" kun wala ka negosyo or nami nga career where you earn for yourself. :banana::banana::banana:

Bacolod City Mayor Evelio yesterday called on Bacoleños to celebrate the Christmas season as a family at the Bacolod City Government Center as he led the lights-on ceremony last night at the facade of the facility with his wife, Elsa, and councilors Homer Bais and Carlos Jose Lopez.

Leonardia announced that the lights-on ceremony ushers in a month-long celebration of the Yuletide season at the government center which will feature a week-end treat for Bacolodnons in the form of entertainment to be presented by schools and churches starting next weekend.

talking of inasal, the place vacated by Isla Pala2x in TIP is now under repair and saw the Tarp of BLC Chicken Inasal... :)

Which means this will be their 3rd branch. 17 th st purok magnolia & at magsaysay near police HQ is the location of their two existing branches so far. Congrats to BLC!!! :)

its incredible how the Inasal evolved from its original beginnings in Bacolod than copied by aliens and becoming a national favorite, no matter what others are saying or written the Inasal will always be a Negrense icon...

I do agree with you migs, nothing more nothing less, let them do the blah blah blah thing, the mere fact that it is ours originally doesn't mean others don't have the right to innovate out of it that makes them what they are today, I said today coz we don't know yet what tomorrow might brings to them. :)

Namit ang crispy piaya sang Bailon's pero galing wala nila na market maayo. Kanugon. I interviewed the one managing their Makati store and all I can say is tama ka poor kag ka dumaan sang ila marketing strategy. A bad marketing strategy will kill a good business, losing that heritage food for a long time. I was offering them a partnership for a bigger commissary and market expansions, pero no-no sila. :ohno:

Ginsulat na sang writter guro long before pa nag-announce ang ZestAir ka direct flights to Incheon. Take note, direct flights a, no layover or stopover, a very good start for international flights in Bacólod-Silay International Airport. :cheers:

The Zest Air flight to Seoul (Incheon) from Bacolod starting this January is direct, unlike the Cebu Pacific flights nga currently gina-offer. bale ang positioning flight for the BCD-ICN flight is the MNL-BCD flight the night before :)

We have something closest to that... NAIA Terminal 3. Daw mall na guid kung indi mo makita ang Check In Counters. :lol: I hope when they expand our terminal or build a Terminal 2 after decades, tani mall-terminal concept sundun nila. Taiwanese eyeing Negros trade, tourism

Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. last night said his 5-day trade mission to Taiwan was very fruitful in terms of drawing potential investors and tourists to Negros Occidental, setting up academic linkages and promoting the province’s organic agriculture.

The governor said that, while in Taiwan, he met several times with officials of Danny and Hudson Inc., a firm which produces office supplies and bags for the National Book Store and for export to Japan and the United States, who are interested in putting up a manufacturing plant in the Sagay Economic Zone.

Marañon said his team also raised interests among the Taiwanese they met in visiting Negros Occidental’s tourist spots, playing golf in the province and in savoring its food, especially from the sea.

We discussed the possibility of chartered flights to fly the Taiwanese directly to the Bacolod-Silay Airport, Marañon said.

“Many Taiwanese groups are interested in coming to Negros Occidental, our trip was very fruitful, in fact they are more excited than we are,” the governor said.*CPG

I once remembered a newsclip on Bacólod about the possibility of direct flight to Korea and now it will happen on January 4. Taiwan is also possible since China Airlines knows how to operate missionary flights in the country via experience in Kalibo. :cheers:
