Regarding SM Bacolod expansion, ok gid mig ah..to think nga their budget is 2.5 billion which is almost parehos sa budget nila for the Gensan mall..its like building a new mall for Bacolod.:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Mayong gab.i bacolod. Bsi my makalabay sa inyo sa cadiz.. Ang SM hypermart full blast na ang pokpokanay. Sensya la gd ka take pictures but galabaw na mga kabilya. Might be two storey.

daw sa region 6 lang naton makita(excempted ang metro manila) na ang provincial capital(lang) gabato sa development against the Regional Capital. Dumduman ko pa sang una taga bisita namon sa mga relatives namon na nag-migrate na sa tabok isla during the 80's kadako gid deperensya sang sitwasyon sang duwa ka siyudad,subong ya...hmmmmm kamo na lang binag binag ah. ;-)

Ang budget sang SM expansion sa Bacolod kag ang mall construction sa Gen san puluparehos lang.,posible na kay mas mahal pa magpahimo sang bago nga building within sa existing building sang sa magpahimo building sa vacant lot.

Got a fresh insiders info from SM..

Mga tots, exterior rendering of SM expansion magwa na soon kay ara na subong sa ila sulod stockroom..wala bi napicturan sang friend ko kay bawal but she told me nga may another bridge way naman based sa nakit an niya sa render..baw ang SM man ya..killing us softly sa atun nga excitement. Cant wait to see the day nga ibutang na nila ang ila rendering.

Sugar bloc to support Benitez bill
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Benitez (Neg. Occ., 3rd District) Saturday said he is filing his Sugarcane Act bill when Congress resumes sessions on May 7.

The Sugarcane Act aims to raise the value of sugarcane through the creation of integrated agro industrial economic zones that will not only produce sugar, but fuel, power, bio plastics and other by-products, to enable the industry to survive trade liberalization beyond 2015, he said.

Under the ASEAN Free Trade Area agreement tariff on imported sugar entering the country dropped from 38 percent last year to 28 percent this year, Martin said. It will further drop to 18 percent in 2013, 10 percent in 2014 and 5 percent in 2015.

Another thing to note is that SM Bacolod expansion budget is same as SM GenSan and SM GenSan would be the biggest mall in Mindanao (150k sq m). It is mind boggling what else they will do in SM Bacolod with P2.5B, as they planned to increase retail area by merely ~30k sq m.

yes, RPB City Walk is really nice migs. I can't wait for ACCC! tani wala na problem. ang maayo lang ni sang al fresco sang Rob versus sa proposed ACCC is that it is close and connected to main mall, so you can enjoy both indoor and ourdoor shopping.

they launched it already... and for 2 days, they were able to sell 6 units..they need to at least sell the 2nd and 3rd floor units and so far, a lot are already doing inquiries and a lot are interested :) once the 2 floors will be sold... construction will follow :)

P30 per unit man gihapon ang BCC...amo gid na ang legacy ni mayor bing nga pilit gina-agaw pero forever na gid nya nga angkunon nga titulo. in other areas where there are city-run colleges, ang mga residents lang ang pwede maka-enjoy sang low rates but sa bacolod ya wala pili. residents or non-residents, palarehas.

I agree migs...I hope ma realize ni sang aton mga investors like Gokongwei, Sy, MVP, Vladi, Vallacar, etc. to give their generous "excess" to the Bacolod City College :banana::banana::banana::banana:

MANILA, Philippines - Leading mall developer SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SM Prime) said it is expanding its shopping mall in Bacolod City.

SM Bacolod will undergo a two-phase expansion, which will start this year and last up to 2014.

The SM City Bacolod Annex will add 102,043 square meters of gross floor area to the main mall, which brings the entire mall's GFA to 171,380 square meters.

SM Prime set aside P1.4 billion for the construction of the Annex, located at Rizal Street in the reclamation area in Bacolod.

The SM City Bacolod Annex will add 102,043 square meters of gross floor area to the main mall, which brings the entire mall's GFA to 171,380 square meters.

so does it mean, di na gale warehouse ang SM Bacolod? and once completed sa 2014, this would be the BIGGEST SM in WV?:lol::lol::lol::lol: Paki explain bi lihog..

OT. Ive heard from my source sa SM na their Bacolod Mall is one of the best performing malls sang SM..so the daku daku of SM decided to expand kay ripe naman gid. Based kunu daan sa SM dapat after 10 years pa ma expand ang isa ka mall pero with exemption ofcourse..kag isa na da ang Bacolod Mall.
Isa lang mahambal ko tampa na ni sa ga hambal nga warehouse ang SM Bacolod:lol::lol::lol:..
