Boris Johnson ( London mayor)heaped praise on the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), and made light of England’s recent failure to land the right to host the 2018 World Cup.
“This is a quite wonderful and historic evening and I’m so full of confidence when I look at what the ODA has achieved,” said Johnson.
“Let me propose to you that what we need to do now to console ourselves with the unhappy events that took place in Zurich (where Fifa announced England had not won the 2018 World Cup).

Wow! The smallest city ever to host the Summer Olympics! If London, Ontario can host Summer Olympics, then so can Whitehorse for Winter Olympics (but after Quebec City hosts)! :)
