Henderson Cuts Height of Hong Kong Building After Objection, Ming Pao Says

Henderson Land Development Co. reduced the height of a residential development in Hong Kong’s western Mid-Levels area after its original plan met local residents’ objection, the Chinese-language Ming Pao Daily reported today.
The developer cut the height of the proposed building, located at 23 to 27F Robinson Road, to 238.7 meters (783 feet), from 247 meters, the paper said, without specifying its source of information. The revision would remove two to three floors from the original plan of a 35-storey building with 106 units averaging 2,000 square foot each, it said.

【明報專訊】恒地（0012）持有大部分業權的西半山區羅便臣道23、 25、27D、27E、27F號，早前向城規會申請作出住宅重建發展，將興建一幢35層高住宅，提供106伙平均面積約2000方呎的住宅。該個案原於本周五審理，惟由於受到區內居民反對，恒地近日臨時將申請高度由247米（指主水平以上，下同）減至238.7米，約減建兩至三層，個案要延期審理。
高度由247米 減至238.7米
恒地並向城規會申請，略為放寬建築物高度限制，以作准許的「分層樓宇」發展。申請人指出，整個地盤可按地勢分為上下兩個地盤，是次規劃申請建議將27D、E、F號納入重建範圍內，如不獲准許，申請人便會按屋宇署批出的建築圖則獨立各自興建，綜合發展所帶來的規劃好處將永久消失。恒地早於07年已就羅便臣道25號，獲屋宇署批出建築圖則，可建1幢37層高住宅，及後城規為西半山實施約30層高的高限。
城規會接附近屋苑法團反對
是次申請，將法定高限增加17.5米，以容納新增4層住宅樓層和1層停車場。城規會至今已就個案接獲207份公眾意見，其中大部分是由附近屋苑的法團提交的反對意見。
