The rehabilitation of the Tazi Palace by the qatari Barwa Real Estate real estate group. This project should generate 200 stable employment for a total investment of 450 million of DH. The Palace is located on the edge of an immense garden of 3.5 hectares. It has a breathtaking view on the mountain and the city of Tangier.
Currently property domain private state, the Palace had not been completed at that time, the war in Europe that prevented the continuation of the construction. Many myths and legends surround also building. The building, overlooking the garden and the hill which overlooks, was built according to popular tradition by some forçats. effectivement c'est très léger... Pas beaucoup d'ambition en tout cas les qataris. A mon avis ils veulent juste rendre service.... :D

Nous venons de signer avec un groupe qatari une convention d'investissement destinée à la rénovation du palais Tazi de Tanger pour en faire un équipement hôtelier très haut standing! l'investissement global est de l'ordre de 450 millions DH et prévoit la création de 100 emplois directs.

Maroc-Qatar : investissement de 450 MDH pour la réhabilitation du Palais Tazi à Tanger

Le Maroc et le Qatar ont signé, hier mercredi à Rabat, une convention d'investissement d'un montant global de 450 millions de dirhams (MDH) portant sur la rénovation et la réhabilitation du Palais Tazi à Tanger.
Ce projet devrait générer 100 emplois directs et stables.

Signée par le ministre de l'Industrie, du Commerce et des Nouvelles Technologie, Ahmed Réda Chami et le directeur exécutif de la société Qatar National Hotels Morocco (Groupe Qatar National Hotels Doha), Hamad Al Mulla, cette convention prévoit la création d'un équipement hôtelier cinq étoiles de très haut standing, d'une capacité de 120 chambres.

L'équipement se compose de 40 chambres Deluxe, 8 suites junior, 16 suites Deluxe, une suite exécutive, deux villas VIP et une villa royale, un SPA, un centre de revitalisation et un centre d'affaires.

Qatar National Hotels Morocco est une société de droit marocain dont le principal actionnaire est le Groupe Qatar National Hotels Doha relevant du Conseil suprême pour l'investissement de l'Etat du Qatar.

Non c'est sur le coté sud de la vieille montagne (le palais donne sur le golf )

Qatar firm to invest $55m in Moroccan hotel project

Qatar National Hotels Company (QNH) said on Tuesday it was investing $55m in converting a former palace into a luxury hotel in Morocco.

It said it has signed an investment agreement with the government of Morocco for the revamp of Tazi Palace in Tangier.

QNH will spend $55m to convert the former palace into a five star hotel consisting of 120 rooms, two VIP villas and one Royal villa.

It will also include a spa, a fitness centre and a business centre, in addition to conference and banqueting facilities.

The project is expected to cover a total area of 36,000 sq m which includes gardens, an outdoor pool and a golf course.

The project is forecast to generate more than 200 jobs for local workers, QNH said in a statement.

"Our investment in rehabilitating the Tazi Palace in Tangier aligns with QNH's strategic plans for international expansion, being our second venture in North Africa," said says Hamad Abdulla Al Mulla, CEO of QNH.

He added that QNH aimed to make Tazi Palace "one of the gems in our portfolio of luxury hotels".

وقعت شركة قطر الوطنية للفنادق مؤخرًا اتفاقية استثمار مع الحكومة المغربية في الرباط لتجديد وإعادة تأهيل قصر "التازي" في طنجة.

وقع الاتفاقية كل من سعادة أحمد رضا الشامي وزير الصناعة والتجارة والتكنولوجيا الحديثة المغربي والسيد حمد عبدالله الملا الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة قطر الوطنية للفنادق، بحضور ممثلين عن وزارة الاقتصاد والمالية ووزارة السياحة والتراث في المغرب بالإضافة إلى ممثلين عن الوكالة المغربية لتطوير الاستثمار.

وبموجب الاتفاقية، ستستثمر شركة قطر الوطنية للفنادق 55 مليون دولار لتحويل القصر السابق إلى فندق خمس نجوم يتألف من 120 غرفة فندقية فاخرة: فيلتين لكبار الشخصيات، وفيلا ملكية، ونادٍ صحي وسبا، مركز للأعمال ومرافق حديثة للمؤتمرات والاجتماعات والمناسبات.

ومن المتوقع أن يغطي المشروع مساحة 36 ألف متر مربع، تكوّن المنطقة المبنية منه مساحة 9500 متر مربع. ويضم المشروع حدائق خضراء، مساحات للمشي والاسترخاء، أحواضًا مائية، بركة سباحة خارجية وملعب جولف. ومن المنتظر أن يوفر المشروع أكثر من 200 فرصة عمل للسكان المحليين.

وقال السيد حمد عبدالله الملا الرئيس التنفيذي لقطر الوطنية للفنادق "إن استثمارنا في تجديد وتأهيل قصر "التازي" في طنجة يتماشى تمامًا مع الخطة الإستراتيجية التي وضعتها شركتنا للتوسع والانتشار دوليًا، وهو الاستثمار الثاني لنا في شمال إفريقيا. يقع هذا القصر في منطقة غنية بالتراث الثقافي والمناطق الجاذبة للسياح، وسيصبح واحدًا من المعالم المهمة في محفظة فنادقنا الفاخرة التي تحمل مجد وسحر وعبق الماضي الغابر".
