This is the tallest building in Montpellier, France. Between 20 and 22 floors, but I don't know how tall!

Crap, I forgot I was supposed to write in English.

Chrispic, I am sure you can choose some other pic for your avatar. Unless you have a sentimental bond with that project.

Somebody gave a 8

I guess it is Chrispic. If this is worth a 8, then what mark would you give to a real skyscraper? And I am not talking about the best ones, just a basic good skyscraper like Total or Coeur Defense at La Defense.

This is a really original building. Multifuncionnal, offices, residential, shops.

And his style (triangle) is really surprising. Remember that he is at least 70 meter tall, and it is really original to see a huge triangle from kilometers around !

New pics of triangle :

This tower is old, cladding must be totally refresh, but he is so original and unique. It is a total part of Montpellier heart. Link between comedie and polygone, this project is an ambitious way for shops : The tower's got shops on the floor, but you can also go climb down (escalator) and discover that there is a real underground with lots of shops and multiple way to go back to comedie or polygone. THe original form of the tower has probably been studied to protect view from comedie : from comedie builgind looks crushed and not tall, from polygone center the tower looks like a real scraper !

i really like this tower, the only bad thing we can say is that cladding is really old and ugly, need to remake it completly

i give a correct 7/10

Note : I do not concider seriously the opinions of those which never see the tower in real.

To be original and unique is not a always a good thing.

How can you like a tower which has a "old" and "ugly" cladding? You like contradiction, don't you? ;)

It's not me that gave a 8! I don't have rate this bulding because I want YOUR opinion.

Too, it's normal that you think that this bulding is not nice because you live in Paris and there is a lot of nice towers in Paris. But I like this bulding because he is original and he looks very different according to the place were we see him. But it's your choice if you think thaht is not nice

I think it has a little bit too much concrete, but the shape is ok. 7/10

Chut.

I don't believe any of this. I think the pictures were taken in a Moscow burb.

That building isn't boxy... but have something ordinary, except maybe in the Montpellier's skyline. 5/10...

5/10.

not so bad for a French provincial city like Montpellier.
But it isn't extraordinary.

Just to say... The Triangle is the biggest building but not the tallest. It has 19 (maybe 20 floors), it's not that higher than the Polygon Tower (16 floors) and the the 3 "Nouveau Monde" Towers (19 each) which are close to te Triangle, building a little skyline.
The tallest tower in Montpellier is the Tour d'Assas, a 23-floor monster located in La Paillade, the official "ZUP" (Sorry, french word) of the city.

I'll bring pictures later.
