As a result of a limited competition, WZMH Architects was awarded the design contract for a 42,000 m² office building for the Hangzhou Tobacco Company. The project, which will be called Liqun Tower, contains office space on the upper levels and a 200 room hotel on the lower levels. Many of the hotel rooms overlook a dramatic 9-storey atrium which forms the focus of the project.

Sorry, i don't know which part of Hangzhou the tower is situated:(. And its not mine building;). I found the tower first at emporis.com, and did some search in some chinese architects and found this tower with a image. Si i posted this thread because it has never been posted any information concerning this tower before here at skyscrapercity.com... :)

火车东站将成杭州规模最大交通枢纽



沪杭磁悬浮、城际高速列车、地铁

两口两线运河二通道进一步盘活交通

杭州投入1500亿元决战城市东部

决战东部。6月22日，杭州市建委到市政府参加东部地区重大基础设施建设专题会议，汇报材料的题目，就是上面四个字。

与会的还有杭州市规划局、杭州市交通局、杭州市地铁集团、杭州市电力局、杭州城建资产经营公司等部门主要领导
，每个人都拿着一份厚厚的汇报材料。小小的会议室里，挂着一幅幅杭州东部详图。

持续4个多小时的会议，传递出一个重要信息———未来几年里，杭城东部地区将接受一次大规模改造，许多重要基础设施将在这块土地上陆续登台。其中包括沪杭磁悬浮、“沪杭、杭宁（杭州—南京）、杭甬（杭州—宁波，规划中）、杭长（杭州—长兴，规划中）”四条高速城际列车、地铁、运河二通道、新火车东站等。同时，还有一大批城中村将改造，丁桥、九堡、下沙等地将建起大型居住区……

如果投资规模也能衡量一个项目的重要性，那么初步估算，“决战东部”投资规模将达到1500亿元左右，投资额之高、建设密度之强，杭州建设史上少有。

城东的区位优势

目前，杭城东部地区基础设施、相关配套工作相对落后，但随着杭州东扩、沿江、跨江发展战略实施，这块地方的区位优势日益显现。

城东刚好是杭州主城和江南（主要指萧山、滨江）、临平、下沙三大副城联结点，同时，又是接轨上海的东大门。城东开发成功与否，直接关系着“大杭州”战略实施，以及杭州与上海能否顺利对接。

在杭州市“十一五”发展规划中，专门对东部地区有个描述，说杭城东部地区即将迎来“高密度投资、高强度开发、大规模建设”的兴旺景象。

火车东站将成杭州规模最大交通枢纽

好比下围棋，决战东部也有两个关系胜负的“眼”，只有先建好它们，整个东部地区才能逐渐盘活。

第一个“眼”是火车东站，它就在现火车东站原址上扩建而成。

未来的火车东站，是一个大型现代化综合交通枢纽，是杭州市第一大客运站，而火车城站、杭州南站（现萧山站）则为辅站。

沪杭磁悬浮杭州站设在火车东站。地铁、4条高速城际列车、普通轮轨铁路及公交、出租车和社会车辆，将在火车东站形成平面和垂直结合的换乘格局，游客可以很方便地从一种交通工具转乘另一种交通工具。

沪杭磁悬浮：线位已初步确定，将沿现在沪杭铁路进入火车东站。

沪杭高速城际轮轨列车：由铁路西侧进入火车东站。

杭宁高速城际轮轨列车：与沪杭高速城际轮轨列车会合后，由铁路西侧进火车东站。

另外，还有两条规划中的高速城际轮轨列车，即杭甬客运专线和连接杭州与长兴的杭长客运专线，也将进入火车东站。

出了火车东站，游客可以坐地铁、出租车或公交离开。

游客要搭长途客运汽车，可以到汽车东站。今后，现汽车东站将拆迁，有可能搬到火车东站附近，也有可能与在建的九堡客运中心合并。

火车东站辐射圈

杭州市规划局说，初步设计，改扩建后的火车东站占地2至3平方公里，按每15分钟内集散1万人次客流标准建设，预计日均客流可达25万至30万人次，接近北京西客站和铁路上海站。

火车东站外围辐射圈，一直到德胜快速路、石桥路、艮山西路和沪杭高速公路相互围合的区域。

规划中，这个区域将以交通功能为主，集商业、商务、办公和旅游集散于一体。

辐射圈再外围，到以城站铁路线-庆春路、上塘路、钱塘江、绕城东线-运河二通道为边界的区域，这个区域初步定位是以商住为主，建设一个生活服务中心。

两口两线是东部交通支撑

决战东部的另一个“眼”，是两口两线，即沪杭高速公路德胜立交入城口和杭浦高速公路大井入城口，以及德胜快速路和石祥-石大线。

两口两线，是整个东部交通的支撑。

建设沪杭高速公路德胜立交和杭浦高速公路大井立交两个入城口，主要是为缓解彭埠入城口拥堵的交通，实现“多点入城”。

两线建设，包括了全长13.9公里的德胜快速路（东起规划中的东湖路，西至运河）以及12公里的石祥-石大线（东起笕桥镇横塘村，西至农灌河）建设，还有道路两侧各50米范围和周边相交道路的整治。

同时实施撤村建居和“城中村”改造、完善基础设施、拆除违法建筑、整治建筑立面、绿化美化环境、发掘历史文化、调整产业布局、开发沿线土地、整治周边河道等。

两口两线建设目前已启动，计划三年内完成。

运河杭州段要建二通道

流淌过将近1400年岁月，京杭大运河（杭州段）老了，航运功能逐渐退化，再也载不动南来北往的船楫。

于是，杭州打算新开挖一条运河，即运河（杭州段）二通道。这个想法从1989年提出，经过了17年的研究论证，目前方案已逐步成熟。

规划中的运河二通道，全长约40公里，设计航道等级三级，高于原来的运河（杭州段）两级。

它起自钱塘江八堡附近，穿过杭州经济技术开发区，沿余杭区与桐乡、海宁两市的边界至杭申线航道，并利用桐乡境内的原有航道，在德清五龙桥与目前京杭运河航道连接，先后穿越下沙大道、德胜路、绕城高速北线、杭浦高速、沪杭高速、沪杭铁路、320国道、申嘉湖杭高速等重要交通通道。

运河二通道很长一段位于城市东部地区，建设完成后，原有的运河航道将被更好地保护起来。这有利于运河申遗。

地铁九堡段线路将更多走地下

地铁在九堡段的线路，一开始这样安排：

线路自彭埠站以地下线穿越沪杭甬高速公路后，出洞转为地面和高架，经九堡东站后向东在下沙西站前入地，向北至乔司翁梅立交附近入地。地上段线路总长18.54公里。

但为避免地铁高架线对城市景观的破坏和减少噪声，同时也为最大程度利用土地资源，这条线路将被更改，新线路更多走地下，目前，具体方案正在比较选择中。

钱江一桥今后禁通火车

现在，钱塘江上有两条铁路通道，钱江一桥和钱江二桥。

今后，钱江一桥将逐渐废止铁路功能，禁止火车通过，附近的白塔段铁路将改造为白塔公园；而钱江二桥则将拼宽，主要承担从火车东站出来过钱塘江的列车。

远期，如果钱江二桥无法满足增长的铁路过江需求，那么，考虑沿望江门再打一条过江隧道，主要承担从火车城站出来需要过江的列车。与即将开工建设的庆春东路过江隧道不同，望江门过江隧道专通火车。

怪不得 杭州的城站火车站是全国最好的之一 而杭州火车东站 却有点 简陋 原来是在等这一天 的到来呀 还有杭州汽车东站 是全中国客流量最大的汽车站之一（不是第一就是第2）

杭甬高速铁路要开通了 浙赣电气化铁路（目前中国大陆最先进）已经开始使用 上海--杭州如果慈悬浮不能建造 高速铁路也会在今明2年开建 在加上甬温铁路马上竣工 哈哈 我的家乡杭州东边--------在杭州和宁波中间的 县城上虞又要进一步飞跃了 杭州湾将是中国真正最富裕 的地区！开心 呀 现在上虞的建设不得了呀！

市政府刚刚批复的《杭州市城市建设和管理第十一个五年规划纲要》告诉我们一个信息，未来五年，我们这座城市还处于建设的高峰期。

规划中，杭州未来五年建设的项目很多很多，地铁、快速路、港口、六大组团等等，前景那是“相当地”诱人。

10个杭州人7个是城里人

未来五年，杭州单中心、高集聚的城市形态，将逐步向多中心、开敞式、组团化、网络化的城市空间布局转型，初步构筑起以市区为核心，县城为依托，中心镇为基础，高等级公路为骨架的市域网络化大都市。临浦、瓜沥、义蓬、塘栖、余杭、良渚六组团，将成为集居住、创业、商务、休闲、旅游于一体的新城区。到2010年，杭州市城市化率将达到70%。形象地说，五年后，10个杭州人中7个将是城里人。

基本建成地铁一期工程

杭州地铁建设的“准生证”已经拿到，按规划纲要的说法，[2010年，我市将基本建成地铁一期工程。未来五年里，我市还有两项“噱头”工程，一项是“推进沪杭磁悬浮交通项目和城际客运专线的建设”。规划纲要也把建成沪杭滋悬浮作为“十一五”的一个目标，另一项是“加快出海港建设步伐，实现与洋山港和宁波港的通航”。德胜、秋石、留石快速路的建设.

自来水质达到欧共体标准

建设适度超前的公共基础设施体系，当然是未来几年里杭州的建设重点。到2010年，主城区日自来水供水能力将达到170万立方米，副城达到135万立方米，自来水供应普及率主城区达到100%，副城区达到95%以上，自来水水质达到欧共体标准。

随着“西气”、“东气”工程的建设，萧山、临平、下沙都将建设天然（或燃气）热电厂。到2010年，主城区“城市气化率将达到99%以上”。

开通9条快速公交线

公交优先就是老百姓优先。未来五年里，主城、副城、组团间的公交联系将更加密切。2010年，我市将开通9条快速公交线路，15条准快速公交线路，基本形成快速公交为主体的复合型现代化公交体系。到2010年，主城区100个市民中，35人靠公交外出。

明年底，住房困难户随时可申购经济房

建立较为完善的多层次住房供应和保障体系，依然是今后我市要做的工作。到2010年实现普通商品房供应总量占全市商品住宅供应总量的70%以上，经济适用房、拆迁安置房、租赁（廉租）房、人才创业公寓等保障型住房，占全市住宅建设总量的30%。市区住宅开工面积每年保持在700万-800万平方米，到2010年，城镇居民人均住房面积达到30平方米。

可以关注一下的是，纲要里还有一个明确目标：到2007年年底，住房困难户能随时申购经济适用房，拆迁户能随时拿到安置房。

the building is stood at 232 meter,43 floor,(41 floor top,2 below) the building also was first "smart' building in the city,the entire building are interconnecting with fable optic.

PM Lee opens S'pore-Hangzhou Science & Tech Park in China
Second-tier cities in China have been drawing more investors and a new integrated business park is being developed to cater to the growing number of businesses setting up operations there.

It was opened on Friday by Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who also took the opportunity to visit the premises of a big Chinese Internet name, Alibaba.

This is a new landmark for the Singapore business park developer Ascendas. The Singapore-Hangzhou Science and Technology Park is the first integrated park development in Zhejiang province.

Costing about US$484 million, it is located at the heart of the Hangzhou Economic Development Area.

Phase 1 of the project will be completed next month. Tenants who have signed up include firms in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), IT outsourcing and the creative industries.

Chong Siak Ching, president & CEO, Ascendas, said: "Future phases will also include retail, convention spaces and service apartments when all 43 hectares are completed. The park will cater up to 50,000 professionals in areas such as BPO, IT and R&D."

Singapore companies have been growing their investments in second tier mainland Chinese cities like Hangzhou.

Last year, bilateral trade between Singapore and Hangzhou reached US$611 million. Hangzhou is also attractive because some of the biggest Chinese companies can be found here.

PM Lee was given a tour of Alibaba Group, a family of Internet-based businesses which provides B2B e-commerce trade, retail, payment, business management software and classified listings.

Alibaba said Singapore is an important part of its growth plans. David Wei, CEO, Alibaba.com, said: "Alibaba.com investment hub for our global investment is based in Singapore as well as our marketing hub and sales hub.

"At the moment, our global sales represent less than five per cent of our total revenue. Within the next five to 10 years, we expect that number to be one third of our total revenue with more revenue global, and there will be more consolidated functions in Singapore."

Last year, alibaba.com made the second largest IPO sale of an Internet company after Google, raising US$1.5 billion.
