smog August 31st, 2004, 02:18 PM Built in roman syle in 1190 on a pleochristian basilica destroyed by Frederic Barbarossa.

Well Well, I see some really low ratings for a church of such a great historical significance...in this church are buried the biblical "three wise men" (parts of the rests have however been removed from emperor frederick I "barbarossa" and buried in koln cathedral)
And...one of the back chapels is a masterpiece of Lombard Renaissance: the Cappella Portinari, painted from the huge artist Vincenzo Foppa and the gothic arch of saint peter martyr...let's see some pictures! :)
