60meters too much? it doesn't look so high in the renderings, quite small actually.

Is in Al Maktoom Road that goes from Maktoom Bridge to Nasser Square. It is right next to the road on the right side of the road, 50 meters after the signal that if you take left you pass on the small road between Intercontinental Plazza and Twin Towers.

The building is on the left where you can see the crane. Intercontinental plazza is clearly visible on the right side of the picture, so the bank is just oposite it and the Emarat petrol station.

On the background you can see the Al Reem tower too.

The tower is well over 90% complete according to our project manager.

It is right across from Intercontinental Plaza as many of you have already mentioned.

I am going to post some very recent pictures.

Obviously Farayand AEC (A subsidiary of Wind International) has designed the building and is also the project consultant.

The building is 2B + G + 11.

The height is approximately 36 to 37 meters high from the ground level upwards (variation is due to roof cladding).

Now if anyone can teach me how to add pictures to the thread, I would be grateful. Give me a step by step cause I dont seem to be able to do it when I try to reply to the thread.

On March 28, 2006, Bank Saderat has been completed, received all permits and approvals from the Municipality and handed over to the client.

But also give some compassion to the investors in Windtowers 1 and 2 who are very frustrated. Give them hope, compassion and humanity even if no compensation is your policy.

This is a reminder that you are not just rich builders who oppress the poor. This is a good advert for your company so please take the smooth with the rough and rejoice as well as cry.

Please be proud of your company but also human to others. Well done on your achievement here....you need to overcome your shortcoming on The Windtowers now.

PQ, You can ask the Wind Spokesperson as many questions about the Wind Towers as you want but they will just not be answered ref the construction start dates. Note how quick WS posts comments on this forum because its all positive. As soon as its about Wind construction, all becomes very quite and slow. The Wind Investors have probabaly paid for tis venture.
