Was hast du gegen Beton?

Gutes Baumaterial solange nicht sichtbar, meist schlecht wenn sichtbar.
Ausnahmen gibt es, aber mir wäre lieber man verweist auf all die Gräuel, die der Sichtbeton hervorgebracht hat. Die Brutalismusmonster in Boston gehören dazu. Oder viele westdeutschen Kaufhäuser, Sparkassen und Verwaltungskisten.

Aber gerade deshalb sind die interessanten oder sogar ästhetisch ansprechenden Betonbauwerke doch einen Strang wert, hm?

Viele moderne Sichtbetonbauwerke finde ich allerdings auch eher...bescheiden.

Der Strangtitel bzw. der erste Beitrag sagen ja rein nichts über architektonischen Qualitätsanspruch aus. Da besteht natürlich die "Gefahr", dass hier auch grässliches eingestellt wird.
Corbusiers "Unité d’Habitation" und die Bostoner Verwaltungsbauten sind da schon abschreckende Beispiele, in welche Richtung es nicht gehen sollte...

Denke da eher an das sehr spärlich gesäte, wirklich vorzeigbare.
