Nice pictures of a very beautiful city! I love the old buildings, but most of the new ones are pretty ugly.

Grander and prettier than I expected. I am used to seeing buildings like that Byzantine style domed cathedral with minnarets around them. Its easy to forget they were only added to Istanbul's Aya Sofia a thousand years (or something) after it was built.

In "Rate Our Architecture" I would rate Beograd 9/10 but in "Rate Our Skylines" only 6/10 :dunno:

Well it still has some way to go until it gets a very nice skyline like perhaps Warsaw. With a few scraper/high-rise projects coming up it will look very nice.

Belgrade is such a wide city. I mean New Belgrade is very modern with wide streets and modern buildings. Also old town with Kalemegdan is very nice along with confluense of Sava and Danube.
