I am trying to install simcity 4 rush hour!!!! But it allways goas wrong!!!! I can play simcity 4, but not rush hour!!!! What is wrong????? :badnews:

This problem started when I installed Windows XP Pro!!!!! My old windows was XP home edition!!!! Could this be the problem????? :dunno:

I use XP Pro and don't have any problems with Rush Hour.

What exactly happens? Does the game chrash after you start it (when RH is installed) or something else? It can be a lot of things, you need to be a bit more specific:)

In the begining a maxis logo appear and it says something I can't remember... That movie just stops in the middle of it and then it jumps out of the game!!!!!

Ah I had this problem too!

What I did to fix it was this:

Right click on the SC4 icon on you desktop and choose "properties". Go to "shortcut". Now you have to change the name of the destination. You need to add a -introoff after the destination path. Look here:

The intro is still there, but now it doesn't chrashes to the desktop anymore.
